Wave

The store’s owner is really nice and kind. I had a mishap coming off the ferry and ended up with a bad hand scratch. The general store was closed, so I couldn’t get bandages. But when I went into the Wave store, the owner saw my injured hand and gave me peroxide and bandages for free.

Besides the friendly owner, the store has some really cute stuff.

Dennis the owner was very kind and understanding when the squeeze ball my 4yr old got from the shop down the street exploded all over the floor in the store. Great selection of surf gear and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The best part of my Block Island vacation was stopping at The Wave before going back on the ferry. I did way more shopping then I had anticipated, because they had such a great selection with amazing prices. The staff was very helpful with finding items in my size, and making sure I got out in time to catch the ferry. I will definitely be back. Sandy Berrigan

Happy to find that Wave is on the block next to the hotel that was destroyed in a fire a few weeks ago. They’ve always got great stuff, especially hats that are perfect for people who are traveling light.

This store was so welcoming. The owner and his daughter was Unbelievably kind and helpful. I bought a sweater dress, and a pair of reef Sandals. I absolutely felt like family. The quality of the merchandise is phenomenal! I actually just got bleach on the sweater dress and wanted to buy two more. If the owner gets this please email me. Mazzarellaclm@yahoo.com. Dennis was awesome. Had exactly what merchandise I was looking for. He could not have been nicer. Bought several things and will definitely go back next time I’m on the island.

The wave has the best quality merch on the island and the staff is always kind and welcoming, definitely my favorite place to shop :)

The Wave was one of the best shops I have visited on block island.I was greeted by a Very wonderful owner who helped me out tremendously.The Clothes are great an also Great prices to match, good variety of clothing to choose from .Also has one of the best very friendly Beautiful cats I have seen.Will definitely be returning for more clothes and other items 🥰

Nice island shop to purchase summer trends, board shorts, t-shirts, men's clothing and women's clothing. Nice selection of sunglasses, Maui Jim, Oakley. Customer service was great and employees where knowledgeable about what was sold in the shop. Definitely will be stopping in again to see what's new.

Cool merch for sale here. Purchased a pink bucket hat -- quality is very nice. A bit pricey but it seems like you get what you pay for!

The shop looks ok but the hospitality is absolutely horrendous. You cannot shop in peace or ask about the prices of items without the owner of the store being very argumentative and aggressive. Would not recommend to anyone.

The owner was very rude when I was inquiring about the price of an item I was seeking to purchase. I would never go back because of how badly the owner treats their customers. Beware of the nasty rude owner.

The owner is extremely obnoxious and annoying and the prices are absolutely horrible so not shop here.
