Kern's Sausages

Nice little meat market grocery store with a variety of specialty items and imports. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The smoked salmon looked delicious, but didn't get any. Settled on smoked brats and cheese. Recommend!

We found a lot of things that made me as a German quite happy! They had an impressive selection of imported beers, wine, cheese, snacks, chocolates, and candy. It is quite expensive but not unreasonable since it’s imported.

We’re not home yet so we haven’t tried the sausages, I’ll update the review when we do.

The place smelled like my father's old meat market. Clean but distinct. Loved the variety. Bought smoked salmon and beef salami. Both were excellent

Love this little store. Great selection of meats and a decent selection of cheeses. I've driven by the store numerous times over the years and just only recently stopped in. Wish I would have stopped in previously but I will be there more going forward.

I was visiting from OH and decided to grab some sausages before leaving for home. Kern's had a great selection and now that I've cooked up a few at home, I can say for sure Kern's has quality products. Loved the brats and pork sausages!

I stopped here on my way home from an appointment to get something for Valentines day dinner. The customer service was out of this world! Very very kind employees!

Processing a deer and needed some pork fat fast. Went to meijer, dons food land and others. No one was willing to part. At 550 I called kerns while I was in birch run and asked a bunch of questions about doing ground venison for the first time. Not only did they help me out substantially, but they also stayed after close and allowed me to drop in and grab the pork fat. Will use them for all of my butchering in the future!

Friendly people, wide variety of sausages, meats, cheeses, baked goods, interesting drinks, german/european specialty foods, candy and more. We like the caraway rye bread, the garlic toast, and the pastries. They make very good venison summer sausage if you take them the venison (at certain times of the year). Wish we could go more often.

Went in looking for a few specific items and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Prices were excellent.

Kerns is always a must stop shop when we are in Frankenmuth. We love it. ❤

They have a nice selection of beers, wines, and liquors (& liqueurs) to choose from. A nice selection of German foods and condiments, and of course, homemade sausage.

The staff is friendly and helpful as well, giving it that old school small town feeling.

While it obviously has loads of kinds of sausage and other meat products, it also has a very convenient section of other items such as drinks, snacks and more. They also feature a community board that can be really helpful to learn about the Frankenmuth community.

Excellent Smoked Brats, smoked, cured and precooked Bratwurst is our family favorite for many occasions all year long

It is a small store, but excellent. I rate it highbecause they make their own sausage and other Meats right on site with their own recipes. Any place like that gets my respect

I loved this market. I found things like bologna spread which I havent seen sense i was a kid! Several things iv never seen and the prices were very good which is unusual for this town. Staff were freindly. Ill be stopping by any time im in the area for sure.

An awesome market!!! Their meats have always been fresh and great!!! My husband got some of their tiger meat....which seems to be similar to a beef tartar....he really enjoyed it!!! The employee explained that it normally sells out so if that's your thing get there before lunch time!!!! We always like to stop here before heading home to grab some meat for dinner!!! They also have a decent selection of craft beer....I would recommend stopping in!!!

LOVE coming here when we’re visiting Frankenmuth!! They have a decent selection of meats and cheeses to choose from and is one of our must visit shops in town.

Came here for sausages, filled my hands with local beers!
