The After Market

So this store has been open for almost exactly 1 week. They are still working on getting their signage in place which initially led to some confusion about where the entrance was. In the photo you can see this is actually the back side of the building not the entrance despite this being what you see when you enter from the Craig road side. To enter the building you need to drive to the other side.

With that out of the way, while this is a small grocery store they do have quite a good selection. They are bringing in more food than what we saw today. I did note that the prices were a bit higher than what I'm used to at some of the bigger stores that are much further away. I think that pricing will even out as they're able to leverage their buying power after being open for a while. Additionally we did ask about EBT/SNAP payments. They are not yet set up for that but they anticipate being ready in about 2 weeks.

The quality of the food is as good as anything you would find in the big stores. It's definitely worth a look. But that's not all...

This store is also a pantry. On the store side you pay for everything like you would anywhere else, but on the pantry side if you show up between the hours of 10:00 and 4:00 Tuesday through Saturday, you can use your Three Square Pantry Card to get free food that is just as good as what's in the paid section. If you do not have a pantry card they will help you sign up for it and I believe you will be able to take food with you the same day that you sign up with them.

While we were there the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. We had questions about how everything works and the owner came out and spent time with us explaining what was going on and how everything worked and even helped us with our selections. I highly recommend anyone in the Paradise area near Nellis Air Force Base come in and check this grocer out.

The regular market side of the store is priced higher than most stores, but they are convenient, always fully stocked, and very clean. The section for free food is great. Everything is labeled, so you know how many of an item you can get. They have a nice variety of items and all the bread you'd like. It takes just a few minutes to input your information, and then you're given a card that will be scanned on your next visit to make things go a bit faster. For free food, you get one visit per week.

Very friendly ,respectful, attentive staff .fresh produce . Frozen meats .garlic and onion everything you need to eat fresh . What an attribute to a hood which was before known as" The food desert ". Right off multiple bus lines as well .nice food pantry and promotions for ebt users .it is also convenient for non ebt patrons since the nearest supermarket is miles away 🤗🐦everyone is treated equal 🤗

The front of the store faces LV Boulevard and the back of it sits on Craig Road.
Staff is kind.

I am so excited about and pleased with this store. Everything from being greeted with a smile and given a tour of their products to hearing how it helps the community was great. This is definitely what the area needed and I think it's worth even going out of your way to support it. Meats, name brand items, and vegetables were all available.

Very friendly customer service. Clean, neatly placed items. They also have items for the less fortunate people in the community.

Local market within walking distance. Nice to have somewhere again locally to but grocery items. Last grocery store by Nellis Air Force Base was WalMart which closed January 2016. We needed this.

This place is amazing u can buy groceries and get free groceries once a week great people the gentleman who works there is very respectful and Godly and he chose to give back to our community first time there won't be my last

The customer service is exceptional. I have worked retail before and has never seen a store where the products are front and faced so well and professionally.

This is a wonderful store. The staff was nice and helpful. It's not hard to spot of Craig Rd, but you must be aware that the facade is without store front if your looking from Craig Rd. You will see only an uncharaterized building until you go around and see the Aftermarket sign. Look for a large blue building, & go around back. Ebt is also not up yet, I was told a couple of weeks till then; however, there was a great selection of free commodities.

Good people work there always friendly the day we went it was raining they help us out to the car with the food and put it in the car they seen the grandkids in the car and brought out some snacks for them . The market is clean and well maintained

Great grocerie store the owner has been there every time I've stopped by helping out. Love the atmosphere it's a very welcoming store.

This is a great small store AND food pantry! Dwayne the owner is a real down to earth person.

This is such a blessing to this community . They have great selection and prices. Nice size cuts of meat and fish . You can really stretch your money shopping here .
