Snyder's Pool & Spa Stores -Niles

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! AFFORDABLE! PERSONABLE! THOROUGH! AND EFFICIENT! I Had Snyder's out to deal with my pool as I had a sand filter issue earlier this year, 2023. Mike and Cathy and their team went above and beyond to turn my frustration around and help me understand the things I needed to know as a new pool owner. I had them back out today to close my pool. Again they were fabulous. They work efficiently and yet thoroughly. I will definitely be having them back spring 2024 to open my pool. Don't wait, call them.

We have been with Snyder’s for 7 years. They first came to us via home warranty to fix the pool heater after two other services failed Mike fixed it in about 1/2 hour. I have recommended Snyder’s to two other friends who also were very pleased with Snyder service. We use them for opening and clod the pool each year. Never late for appointments and get task done in a reasonable time for a fair price.

I had a serious challenge with my pool liner it turned brown on about 40 percent of my pool liner that I couldn’t get rid of including my steps in over 45 years of having a pool I never encountered before. I called Cathy Snyder at Snyders Pool she gave me instructions on how to determine whether it was a metallic or organic problem. I was able to determine the problem and called Cathy back she said she had the proper chemicals to solve the problem so I went up to their store in Niles on Barron Lake. She took a lot of time to walk me through the process of remediation. I followed her instructions specifically and after using the chemicals in less than a half hour my pool looks like new. Mike Snyder service’s and open and closes my pool he is the best and most knowledgeable pool person I have ever had and their prices are extremely fair and somewhat low would never consider using any one else.

I'm a new spa owner and Cathy and her team have been VERY helpful helping me understand the water chemistry and getting my spa balanced. They were patient with me and answered all of my questions without making me feel stupid. They accurately tested my water and explained what I needed to do to balance it. I'm grateful for a local company that can provide this service.

This company was fantastic from the first phone call till the end. Spoke to Cathy on the phone about some of my concerns about my previous pool builder(NOT SNYDERS OF COURSE) and she was an awesome listener and extremely friendly. Scheduled to have them do my pool closure for the winter. When they came out they were very nice and extremely informative and went above and beyond. Highly recommend them to everyone.

Great business.. Was out of some much needed supplies and all other pool stores were closed.. They had what i needed in stock and it was easy to find the home to pick it up at.. Thank you

The lady that sold us our pool liner was very rude. I bought the liner 1 day & paid in cash...my pool fell in, so we returned the pool liner unopened the next day. She didn't have cash 2 give us back, so she said she would send us a check. She then went on to tell us that she's not going to sell to "Dowagiac people" because they return their items. This is the following week....and I still haven't received my refund check. I will NEVER shop here again.

American Home Shield sent them out to check on pool plumbing. They told me that I had an underground break and that the insurance won't cover it. The tech kept saying "too bad its not at the valve, they will cover that". Guess what, I had American Leak Detection come out (on my own dime) and the leak is in the valve. Now I am fighting to get a second opinion since Synder's diagnoses was completely wrong AND reimbursement for having it inspected using my own money. If Snyder's knew what they were doing, I'd have my $400 back and my pool would be fixed by now.
I want to add (since you brought it up in your response) That I did read my policy, I know what is covered and what is not. I inquired about hiring Snyder's to fix the lining but I am not longer interested given the inaccurate claim submitted to AHS.
