Amana Appliances

I recently purchased a Amana Refrigerator from Lowe’s. My compressor went out right after my purchase. I visited the Lowes store where I purchased the refrigerator and they couldn’t help and refereed me to Amana Corporation. I’ve talked to there support team numerous times and basically told me they can’t warranty my purchase. This is crazy. DON’T BUY ANY AMANA OR WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS. They won’t honor there warranty.

Do not buy appliances or parts from Amana. First their appliances break and then they mess you around on parts. They are scam artists. I recently bought and returned an uninstalled heating element and they are now trying to keep both my part and $180.

I called to get a washing machine part. I had the part number. The automated phone system would not accept my 2 number for parts. Eventually it routed me to talk to a customer service rep. After 16 minutes if getting nowhere, I hung up.
