This sweet candy shop is in the backwoods of Alabama and is a treasure. Their homemade candies are fabulous and the staff are great. The shop is attached to an antique shop that is more like a museum.

Best place to bring visitors! The Paceys believes you need to taste their creations before buying. Samples galore!!! I'm very fond of baking Brie with the Blackberry Jelly & chopped pecans in puff pastry/Pillsbury Crescent rolls. Also use the garlic jelly over cream cheese and serve with crackers. Simply delicious.

We came down to visit Mobile from Michigan and stumbled upon this candy shop and omg its some of the most delicious candy. The candy that looks like a sand dollar was my favorite. I cant remember what it was called specifically but so delectable. Thank you for making such a great product

Loved the candy shop! You can ask for samples of all the jams and jellies, even the various pickles. You can also order cakes in advance. Overall, expensive, but all handmade, and it's worth spending a few extra dollars.

What a sweet little surprise! My friends and I stumbled upon Punta Clara while on vacation, and we were amazed at the variety of jams and jellies and candies to be found. The young lady working there was more than happy to let us sample anything that we wanted to try, and we walked out with lots of goodies from watermelon jelly to fig preserves! The amazing display of antiques and the history behind the home and the candy kitchen was a bonus. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in the area.

This little gem is right off the road, in front of the Wash House Restaurant. It is a quaint little place, that has 2-3 shops in an old, historic house. The missus bought come confectionary delights, and we enjoyed looking at the antiques.. (thinking we might be getting tot that stage as we recognized too many items, or had used them growing up!) Fun place to stop, browse, and enjoy a little break from the day.

I loved the many options and homemade style throughout the store. The chocolate and fudge we got was mouthwatering.

We have been visiting Punta Clara Kitchen for over 40 years during our family vacations to the Grand Hotel. An amazing candy shop and bakery with a wide selection of classic Southern treats... fig preserves, pralines, divinity... it's all here!

I have been visiting Punta Clara Kitchen for over 20 years, and I hope I'll get to visit for at least 20 more. Stepping into the shop is like stepping into another time; antiques are seen throughout the Victorian home, and they even have an old-fashioned cash register. The staff is friendly and helpful, and samples are left out to give you a taste of the delicious treats you can purchase.

Over the years, my tastes have changed, but I always find something I like here. When I was a kid, I'd leave with a container of fudge. As I got older, I fell in love with their dark chocolate covered pecans and their garlic jelly. The shop has such a great variety of goodies that I've never met someone who didn't find something they like at Punta Clara's.

What a great business. Family owned and operated. As a local orthodontist, I have used them personally and professionally to provide goodies to my staff, patients, and referrals. Its a must see for family and friends that come to visit. Fresh and delicious treats for the whole family. Highly Recommended!!

Wow! Three generations making preserves, candies, cakes, fudge, etc. in the family's beautiful 1800's home. The ladies were so friendly and told us all about the history of their business and the home. They also told us about all of the fun things to do and places to visit in the local area. If you're in the area, this is definitely a place you want to visit!

I greatly appreciate the understanding of my issue and the actions taken to fix it. It is important to me that businesses understand the ADA Act. I respect this establishments way of handling it and i hope that my friends, family, and service dog will be able to stop by soon to get some locally famous candy.
