Dollar General

This is my choice of dollar generals in manchester. The employees are so friendly and when we come in to shop they treat you like old friends. Very personable and helpful. They always have what im looking for as apposed to the other store in town that NEVER has anything in stock. This is the only DG I will shop at.

What I love about supporting our local Dollar General is their unyielding support for veterans. Each year, patrons can buy & donate items for local veterans in distress... and no one donates more than Dollar General itself. Great selection of items and competitive prices!

I told the clerk, several times, while checking out, that I had clipped online coupons, one for .50 off on mayonnaise and another for $5 off a $25 purchase. There was nowhere on the credit card machine to put my phone number so I asked her where to put my number. She said the money was coming off, and it was but the money that was coming off were for sale items, not my coupons. She actually argued with me about it! The store manager (I'm assuming here) came over and said it was my fault because I didnt put my phone number in the machine! The store was ungodly hot and so was I so I just paid and left. I will never go to that store again.

The employees are helpful and nice. Always great deals to be found. It's our go to place for snacks and picking up treats for our pups.

The manager and the clerks are always friendly and helpful. They keep the shelves stocked and have the coupon tags out which is very convenient.
