My husband and I love this store!
We go all the time. It’s such a great atmosphere and everyone there is willing to help new players with just about anything.

Raven Forge is a jewel of a store, and one I'm fiercely proud to call my local game shop. They're openly very inclusive of all communities, and welcoming of folks of all interest and skill levels. They taught me how to play D&D, they've bought and sold me MTG cards, they shout their greetings whenever I open the door. Stop by sometime, they'll be happy to see you too.

Awesome game store. People are super friendly, store is clean and has a little of everything. Came here for a Magic the Gathering and will definitely be back.

Great place for everyone who is into gaming. There is a little bit of something for everyone, whether beginner or advance players. Personally loving the DnD Ladies night (private event) because I can hang out with friends and destress after a long week and just have fun with everyone. Wednesdays are also great for adventures league and had fun when I could go (busy with work now). I’m so happy to see the community grow as everyone is super friendly and try to include as many players as possible. Always recommend this place to anyone who listens and won’t stop talking about this place. 10/10

I ran across this shop while visiting a July 4th celebration. The staff and players were friendly and knowledgeable. The community seemed really vibrant and everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was a very positive atmosphere.

We bought a board game based on the recommendation of a staff member (owner?). The game was an absolute blast. It's my kids' new favorite game!

I definitely recommend visiting if you enjoy games or are looking for anything game related.

The folks here are top-shelf. Wonderful atmosphere for all kinds of people who enjoy board/card/tabletop games. Great atmosphere, clean, wonderfully organized. It's amazing having such a great game store in Sanford!

A small, but already well loved, shop. Great selection of TCGs, boardgames, and table tops for the foot print. Staff and community are friendly and welcoming with none of the 'gatekeepers' you find in some larger areas.

Great gaming shop! Best one I've been to and will return. I love the setup and how the games for sale are displayed. Really easy to find coop games or best sellers. This place is a 100% must for any table top player.

Who wouldn't love this place. Great atmosphere and family friendly. Staff displays great knowledge of a wide variety of hobbies and games while owners are probably the best people you'll ever meet.

I’ve been going to Raven Forge Games for almost a year. The diversity and inclusive atmosphere is appreciated. There is a code of conduct to help make the store a place you can feel safe and welcome. The entire staff has taken time to learn my name, what my interests are, and have asked how they can help me. I have learned to play Magic, Pokémon, One Piece, and Lorcana there. This is a kid friendly store with a swear jar for charity. I meet a new person at least once a week. Some are coming from out of town to play there. I recommend Raven Forge Games for new and veteran gamers. As a woman, I am also thankful for the other women who have started playing there as well. They even have a private Ladies Only D&D night for us to feel safe to learn and play. I understand things can happen that can cause hurt feelings and frustration, but I can honestly say the owners have been the most open to feedback on ways to improve the store and gaming space. I’m thankful to have a store like Raven Forge and all the fun people that come in to play from young to old.

Raven forge is such an amazing welcoming place. The employees are so helpful and the community is so kind. One of the best places to play cards, board games, and d&d.

This place is so great! So welcoming and friendly! The staff are wonderful (even if that Kyle always wears Hawaiian shirts)! The merchandise is diverse! I love this place!

I love this store. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, they have a great database system for retrieving singles, and a wide selection of great cards for many games. While I was there I got to play Commander with some very friendly folks while there were Blood Bowl and 40k games going on, WHILE others were playing board games in the back. I happily spent 4 hours playing and $60 on the exact stuff I needed for my decks on my first night and would eagerly go again!

I live here basically, the owners and people are fantastic, if you want to learn to play a game someone is always willing to teach you to play.

Stopped in twice, the staff was all very friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed their board game demo wall. We hope to return soon, the Thursday night board game showdowns sound fun!

Friendly local game store with a wide selection of games and hobby supplies. I've visited multiple times and have always been greeted by someone who was positive and helpful.

Also - bonus!!! They don't talk down to you or fail to help you simply because you're a woman!! It's sad that I have to mention this, but many game shops in the area will outright ignore women who are shopping, while paying most of their attention to the men in the store. Despite my ovaries, I felt that the people behind the counter treated me like everyone else. They helped me find singles, look up cards, and even made suggestions for deck ideas. They lived up to the "Friendly" part of the FLGS.

LGBTQIA+ friendly, extremely nice and relaxing atmosphere! I couldn't have asked for a better small game store in my town!
