Ok guys here we go! Let’s start by saying excellent Supermarket with all the healthy food and fruits you can’t find at a normal supermarket. Food is fresh clean and very well shelved. Staff is very friendly and knows their products. Place has a relaxed vibe to it with an elevator for easy access to upstairs. Restaurant will be the next review. Highly recommend this place. Will be returning here.

A place dear to my heart. Warm and welcoming folks. Incredibly delicious hot breakfast food, pastries. Cake customization available. Amazing drinks ranging from seasonal lemonades to a fabulous variety of coffee and tea. Always clean. Great wine selection. Fresh fruits and salads. Iconic olive bar. Nothing that I can possibly complain about. Free parking too

This place is amazing!!! They have so much selection. Ready cold items, dessert section, littl coffee bar. Tons of trinkets and cooking items, spices teas coffees and food you can’t find anywhere else. Our favorite part was the warm fresh cooked section, the food is really good but the gentleman running it in black glasses is the best! Superb service!!

We had the Chicken Sandwich and Austin City Burger with fries. Followed Baklava with ice cream.
Excellent meal before an Astros game. I look forward to going back and bringing home some stuff from the market.

Unusual grocery store downtown. Loved visiting this location, they offer a wide variety of unique food and snacks. Lots of Mediterranean with plenty of vegetarian options. They have a great variety of hummus and pita bread.
You can get real good food ready to eat for reasonable prices inside.
Place a bit crowded and parking is difficult. They have their own space in a parking garage but it's usually full. I'd recommend walking.

I LOVED THIS PLACE. So much to explore and taste. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got a prepackaged “meal” with honey goat cheese and pita crackers with salami… what a meal!! I was pleasantly surprised that the food lived up to the hype from my friends.

My husband has been coming here since he was a kid and started bringing me here when we got married. It's a very nice clean and organized store. Plenty of different food to try. My husband usual brings me here for lunch and the food has always been great. The price is decent as well. Deserts are fresh and good is made to order. Variety of drinks and snacks. There's also a small eating area. The parking isn't very appealing and it takes a couple rounds around the garage to find a spot that isn't reserved. But overall a great place to shop. No place like this at all.

Probably one of the coolest grocery stores I’ve ever been in. Had an overall Mediterranean vibe to it. Lots of specialty products that you probably can’t see anywhere else. Great staff there’s even a restaurant in the back with live music if you’re into that… pretty cool bakery as well. Very creative and one-of-a-kind. Grocery store. Will definitely stop in again when in the downtown area.

Once again, delectable pastries and an enchanting cup of Turkish coffee. Superb selection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern groceries. Between Phoenicia and Hong Kong Market, I'm able to get the ingredients I need to make delicious vegan meals at home.

Went for the first time this week and it was amazing! The food was tasty and the customer service was top tier. A lady from the bakery helped us find some pita bread and the cashiers were super friendly! Definitely will be back to try more things!

Great variety, good salad balar and hot food options. The portions are good and I got the 2 meats with 3 sides and its $13.99 so good value. A good option instead of eating at the convention center or the food trucks there. It's barely a 10 minute walk from the convention center.

Grocery store in downtown! Free Parking inside garage. Store always neat and clean. Employees very nice and customer service ( which is almost non existent today) is EXCEPTIONAL! They have speciality foods, deli, grab n go prepared meals, bakery, hot food to go, salad bar and sit down cafe and don't forget to take a peak upstairs. There is a huge wine selection from different country's and wonderful unique gifts along with many more food options.

I felt in love with this place! I’ve never even knew about it, until a good friend introduced me! Now you have a loyal customer for life. Great selection of variety of items! Meat, veggies, international foods, wine and much, much more! Also, last but not least! I love the hot grill. I often visit Phoenicia Specialty Foods in downtown Houston, and it was an exceptional experience. Nestled in the heart of the city, the convenience of its location cannot be overstated. To add to the experience, there are plenty of free parking spots available in the adjacent garage, which is a rare luxury in such a bustling downtown area.
The store brings together an incredible array of international food, majorly showcasing the diverse and rich flavors of the Middle East, from countries like Armenia, Turkey, Lebanon, and more. The quality of the produce is outstanding - fresh, aromatic, and evidently sourced with a commitment to authenticity.
As for the pricing, it's slightly on the higher end, but given the uniqueness and variety of the items - many of which are imported - the cost is justifiable. Shopping here feels like embarking on a culinary voyage, giving us a taste of far-off lands without leaving the city.

Really nice and cool grocery store. Tons of great options from sweets to charcuterie boards and everything in between. The only hassle is parking. They have a ton of fresh pastries to choose from as well as cooked food/salad bar.

Wish I could have loaded up stuff from the Olive bar, salad bar, the pasta salads, pastry, coffee, wines and oils.
Ate at a awesome breakfast rollup at the deli. Talking about amazing smells inside! You get a chance walk in and check it out!

This is one of the best grocery markets I have been to. They offer an excellent variety of high-quality foods and drinks. Service was very polite as well. I would go back to this store when in the area again.

Words cannot express how amazingly Global and DIVERSE this place is!! I fell in love with this place four years ago when I came to Houston and ever since it is grown and grown and grown to a global marketplace full of every Middle Eastern country (this is their signature items) + a HUGE variety of items from Latin American + The less can go on and on and on!! Amazing Middle Eastern desserts, a fantastic bakery AND both hot & cold deli sections!!!

This awesome place has been a blessings to my family and I since January 2014. We live the selection of food options and I especially enjoy the staff for their assistance to my family and I. The Mkt Street Bar is my favorite place to come to and wine down from a stressful day at the hospitals in the medical center downtown. Thank you for all your does for my family and I. GOD BLESS. Really neat place with many different speciality items! With so many different things to choose from it’s hard to decide what to get! Smorgasbord anyone? Sampler platter, please! We would have to come back a thousand times to try all the different goodies they have! And this is not the half of it!
