New to the RC world and having fun learning but as new as I am I don't want to mess anything up. Peter and Kristine are very helpful I took 2 TRAXXAS to the shop for tuning and they were happy to help and got them fixed the same day. When I arrived for pickup they went over everything that was done and even fixed small things at no additional fees. Highly recommend this place and will recommend to anyone to support our small businesses.

I was having some issues with my crawler. I was able to maintenance and test my RC at their location. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I would give them 10 Stars if I could. Great Shop awesome testing course. Highly recommend them!!

Great place to go for all your RC needs.. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. They take time to make sure your getting exactly what you want..Their suggestions are priceless..
I live near the other "hobbie store" and would rather drive 8 miles to HDH...I always leave with a little more knowledge and smile.
They have a cool track that you can do some mountain crawling...They rent RC's so you can experience the feeling of these little bad a$s cars..

This is a great hobby shop, especially in an area where there aren't a lot of them. Most of the store space is devoted to radio control vehicles, but there is also a dedicated area with a fine variety of plastic model kits and related finishing supplies, like paints, glues, brushes, etc. Friendly staff. Worth your visit.

It was a great time. I brought my own rock crawler and tried out one of theirs. Jolly good time!! Very friendly and knowledgeable folks...

Best place to shop at no doubt answer any of your questions as well get you right

My son received a racing toy car for his bday and I had no idea how to start it. I reached high desert hobbies and the staff was helpful and friendly. The young gentle man was extremely knowledgeable, he showed my son how to add the gas into the toy car and even offered to start the car for us and break it in at a reasonable price. My son's car was ready for pick up the next day! This place has a lot of racing toy cars for sale, toy aircrafts among other really interesting things. I was not aware of this place until my son owned his own toy car. I was also informed if my sons car is ever in need of any parts they can order them there and repair the car too. They had alot of toy cars there being repaired and having maintenance. If you ever own a racing toy car, I recommend this place for any questions or issues anyone is having with there toy cars!

My favorite hobby shop for sure. Always helpful, always friendly, never an attitude of superiority. Good people, and they’re shop is top notch. Can’t say enough of how much I enjoy going there.

A little over a year ago I brought an rc boat I bought online that didn't work out the box. Peter opened it up and fixed the electronics for me no charge. I was compelled to come back and purchase a boat that he recommended. A couple weeks ago, I went in and bought a better boat that he recommended. He also looked at my rc car and gave me info on what I should do for upgrades. They didn't have any replacement parts I needed though, but I also checked with other hobby stores, and they don't carry the parts either. I had to order them online. A few days later, I went in and bought a new rc car while I'm waiting on the delivery of my parts for the rc car I already have.
They have competitive prices, and their knowledge on the rc culture is informative. Mike is very knowledgeable as well. They're very friendly, and also have work tables where you can perform maintenance on your hobby. For a reasonable hourly fee, they will work on it for you.

This place is awesome. the owners and staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. Plus they are not out to just make a quick buck, they are there to make sure you get the right item for your hobby. be it from models to RC Cars, boats or planesthey want to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your purchase. They have an indoor rock crawling area and RC racing on most Sundays. They will also go out of their way to help you learn about the toys your buying.

Love this place. Got my first Traxxas Slash 4x4 VXL here 2 weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure I've given a review in the past on this absolutely awesome Hobby Store....oops!...I gave away my opinion.
Here's my scoop....the owners, Christine and Peter, are just wonderful people. They are not just owners of an rc hobby store. They are truly "rc people" and are involved in the hobby community. Every time I go in there, Christine is helping someone or greets you, and Peter's seems to always be working on someone else's rig.....I wonder if he ever works on his own rigs(Meaning, I've been deep in this hobby since 1989, and I'd need a break from it).
As for the store, they primarily have Crawler/Trail Rigs and other offroad rigs. They also have other race cars, and I'll see a plane here and there......but basically ground-based RC's.
If they don't have it, they will do their best to get it.
Prices there are "at or below" internet prices from what I've seen.
There is an awesome rock-course for your crawler/trail rig. That's the main attraction as you walk in and it covers a lot of flooring. It's by far the best indoor course I've seen. I'd say it's best suited for a Class 1 and Class 2 rig.
Parking is ok. The hobby shop is off the main road but it's kind-of in a weird spot. Hard to explain.
Check it out. It's honestly the only hobby shop I like within a 100-mile radius. All the others seem to be lacking product or knowledge or is brand-specific.

I was having some crazy promblems with my traxxs but doc nd mrs. Doc were able to help out with out hesitattion nd were always talk about what happend to ur truck nd why it happend ,Doc nd mrs.doc are the best this is a family fun oriented place lots of fun with everyone that is there is so frendly u walk out with 100s of friends.

Nice RC shop. Packed with spare parts as well as your standard selection of Traxxas, Arrma, and Axial builds. Many custom kits in stock as well.

Awesome place! First time RC buyer and they walked me right through the know-how without upselling me on anything. Got an awesome new and modifiable RC car to get me started (and probably hooked). Definitely coming here for any fixes or upgrades.

I can't say enough about these people, Christina and Peter are absolutely amazing business owners and will go out of their way to help you get what you need and they instruct their staff to do the same. They never pressure you to get what they think you should get, they give you options and let you choose. The indoor crawling course is free, they never charged for your own vehicle, they also offer premium RC trucks to rent for a very inexpensive price. Most of all their prices are unbeatable! It is very rare that you'll find someone else or even Amazon with the same item for Less.
