CVS Pharmacy

Our family, extended included, has been pleased with the service at this pharmacy.

Prescription ordered 10 days ago was put on hold ... per corporate policy. Unable to reach a person in the pharmacy by telephone after repeated attempts. Automated system stated that the prescription was \"in process\" WHEN IT WAS NOT. It required a visit to the pharmacy to get the prescription filled (and having to wait in line twice).

Request prescriptions online and nothing happens until I show up to “get them expedited” and then have to wait 3-4 hours.

Seriously, the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever encountered. How these people are allowed to operate at such a deficient level when dealing with peoples medication’s is shocking. I understand that they may be understaffed, that doesn’t mean that peoples health needs should be overlooked. More importantly, the gross unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect by the pharmacy Staff is amazing. On two separate visits. I had one staff member waive his hand at me and other customers and then wave us to him. I believe a greeting, Mr. and Mrs. so-and-so, your prescription is ready. Would you come up here please? Would be the professional and respectful way to call someone to the counter. Waving us over like a trained pet is absolutely unacceptable. The eye rolls by the staff in the back is demeaning. I really don’t feel as though the customers are bothering them. We are simply picking up prescriptions. Again, it’s unfortunate that they continuously say that they’re understaffed, that doesn’t mean the staff should treat the customers so rudely. This particular business lacks leadership, oversight, and any semblance of a system of checks and balances. Go anywhere else for your pharmaceutical needs, trust me, it’s worth a ride.

My doctor sent a prescription on Tuesday. I was away for a few days for work, and went on Saturday to pick up the prescription. I was told there had been a hold on it for some reason, but that it would be ready in 45 minutes. Weird, but ok. I came back 2 hours later, and then they told me, “oh, actually, we’re out of that medication.” Which is absurd - how was I just now being notified of this, when the prescription was sent in 5 days ago? I asked them what I could do, and THEN they asked if I’d like them to place an order for restocking. I don’t understand how it took my prompting 5 days later for them to order a prescription when they were out of stock, and why this didn’t happen when my doctor sent in the prescription. This is absolutely ridiculous and incredibly frustrating. Now they’re saying it’ll be ready Monday afternoon, 7 DAYS after my doctor sent it in, but I don’t trust this CVS at all anymore.

Antibiotic called by physician, went to pick up. They did not have, said it would be in tomorrow. I got text that it would be ready at 5:15. I went to pick up and was told maybe tomorrow, it had not come in the order. This is for infection and cannot wait 48 hours. I was told in a very rude manner that I could call other pharmacies, because none of the CVS pharmacies had. When I find a pharmacy that has it, they can call CVS and they will transfer. The rudeness of the person was unacceptable. I did find it and it will be transferred. I will not be returning to this CVS.

This is how I received my pain medication after my knee surgery. They would not replace it and accused me of breaking it up. Very rude and totally unprofessional. I can’t put these pieces together and come up with the count I was supposed to receive. Plus the pharmacy never answers their phone.

Remarkably unhelpful pharmacy that refuses to help with information about navigating its medication shortages.

Beyond terrible. Ive seen snails move faster then the people behind that desk. To answer the phone and say hold and never answer again you guys need some serious work with your customer service skills. This will be the last script I pick up from this pharmacy.

Total confusion trying to set up one transfer from an out of state Pharmacy for heart medicine still waiting 4 days later after going to the store twice in person!
