I had a phenomenal experience shopping here. Tom in millwork was incredibly helpful, detail oriented, and personable. I really enjoyed having him support me.

Kelcy was also extremely helpful, as Tom wasn't as familiar with the new ordering system. Kelcy, seeing an opportunity to help, sensed I was in a rush and aided me in completing the transaction and taught Tom along the way. I'm not sure if Kelcy is a manager or not, but he sure seemed like he had the chops to be one. Unbelievably efficient and charismatic.

there is always someone to help employees are always friendly. I recently went to the paint department, I had a few questions and the gentleman politely helped me .

Amazing store!!! Carlos helped us find everything we needed. He checked to see if they had a specific item in stock and would take us to where the item was. Fantastic employee. A lot of employees were friendly and the store is clean and well organized.

Came in late and still got lots of help from store employees on things I was looking for. Found some great deals on a lot of tools and Christmas items. Was very happy to find everything I needed.

I truly love this store the manager Maurice is amazing and so helpful a real asset to Home Depot! Also Mickey is another awesome person who strives in customer service! All the employees are so kind, knowledgeable, and really helpful! If I have to drive out of my way to get supplies just to go to that store I do it every time because I know I will get the help and service I need! Great location especially for the garden center. There were tons of plants and they take over part of the parking lot too. Wide variety of plants and even wider variety of colors of flowers too. Highly recommend for any gardening needs and also for general home improvement needs.

Exceptional service at the Vernon Hills store! It was like night and day compared to the Gurnee store. Laura the Manager was extremely helpful as well as one of the flooring employees. We explained our return and reorder request and they immediately handled the situation as well as applied the same discount to the reorder as we received on our initial purchase. They also apologized for the hassle/mistake on the original order! We really appreciated their level of quality customer service, professionalism and helpfulness. Thanks!

I stopped by here a few weeks ago to get some bulk carpet for a project. The gentlemen in the flooring department who assisted me, Mark Hoefling, was both helpful and informative. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was very friendly and engaging. He told me a few interesting stories while he was getting my materials together. Thanks Mark!

Very helpful. Being a female it's always interesting to walk into a home improvement store. Today, I wasn't treated like an idiot. I rented a flat bed truck and bought lumber for a work project. Everyone was nice, helpful, and professional. Thank you Home Depot for treating me like a person!

Excellent store for home improvement. They have maintained good quality for the tools and home improvement supplies. Verity of choices for seasonal flower and foliage plants. Very well maintained and clean store. Good in customer service and have knowledge people to bounce your improvement ideas.

They only had a 4-pack of the lightbulb I wanted and I didn't need 4 so I got a color changing smart bulb instead.

Got my christmas tree here this year! Workers were very nice and helpful. There are so many varieties of trees offered.

Great store , specially Erik and Gabe (sorry if I didn’t spell their names correctly) but I came in to pick up some lumber for my job at Abbvie asked for help loading it and it was awesome to see 2 young guys not complain or make a face they were more then happy to help me you could see it in their faces ! Those are the people you want representing your company.
