The Home Depot

There are time when they have great items on sale for a low price. Specially the tools. There are some items that need staff assistance and sometimes they are hard to find. I bought some 3/4 of boards and wanted to have it pre cut. I asked the register and had the guy paged twice. I waisted 23 mins for the guy to show up.
Also the tool rental was great. One time i rented a carpet doctor vac. It worked really good. And the 50lb electric jack hammer worked right for my project.
In general the store is great. They carry almost all tool brands for diy repairs. Great store.

THE place to go for all household needs! They have the best gardening selection. I love my Endless summer Hydrangeas, Corral Bells, Red Star and patio decorations.

Tom was very knowledgeable and helpful in our endeavor to fix our problematic pocket door. Store was organized, making it eat to find what we needed. The late night hours is a bonus. Thanks Tom!!

Anika is one of the MOST knowledgeable people at Home Depot! She is absolutely AMAZING! Super friendly and she knows her stuff. Although she works in one specific department (doors), she can answer questions about many, many products, and other issues. She is responsive and timely in her updates. There was an issue with a handle with my door installation; but Anika QUICKLY resolved it and did a terrific job working with the company. She WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND and it truly a Class Act! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anika. She has made my Home Depot experience an absolute FABULOUS one consistently! She has helped me many times and has been a true professional who knows the in's and out's of Home Depot! If I could give more stars I would. Thank you Anika! You totally rock!!!

The staff in the paint department is very nice, the paint we purchased Behr ultra was the best option for our project

Did a online order and got there before it was ready so i called on the inside and sherry who answered went above and beyond she went and picked my order and brought it out immediately to my car....thanks sherry!!!!!!

Super kind staff helping at the self checkout. She helped me bag my things and made sure it wouldn’t fall. Staff here are very kind.

Excellent Garden Selection. Extremely healthy Willows and Dogwoods. They are outperforming the ones I purchased for 2x online (half size!).

I bought at least 12 plants under $20.

Update. These plants are 10 foot tall now.

Nice Home Depot. The staff here can something be a bit unaware of where things are, but when they do know what's going on, they are very helpful. Lots of great plants for this season!
There are so many tools to look through. The parking lot is ginormous and you can spend a lot of time here, just by browsing.

I bought my washer and dryer here and they have a good deal. They also provide military discounts.

5 star because who does enjoy getting what they need for their house here. I've heard this location is ranked 3 or 4th worst in Illinois for customer service and customer complaints. This does not stop me from coming here though. Although i'll admit it is sometimes hard finding someone to help you

Liked this Home Depot not out of the ordinary just regular Home Depot but a tiny bit more organized than others

Came in to rent equipment and was helped with getting to the rental area and even had help choosing the correct tool that I needed

Visited the garden center this time. Bought a dozen hosta plants for a shady area next to my garage and along my fence. I bought white marble stones for a saucer planter, too. But my favorite purchase was my light and deep purple double orchid.

We love the Home Depot. Use them for all of our home improvement needs. They have a pretty good selection of tools, paint materials, electricity and many other things that we use on a regular basis. The paint department employees are extremely helpful with matching paint when we bring them samples of the exterior of our home. It took extra time and care to make sure that what we walked out with was what we needed. A positive experience. Good store!

I usually favor Menards because of all the extra stuff I need that Home Depot doesn’t sell. I’ve needed lumber lately. Menards failed in this area. This Home Depot - A+. In and out in 15 min.

Great store, unlike other stores the quality of materials is pretty good and they give discounts when you buy in bulk. They even carry professional tradesmen tools (this Christmas season is the best time to buy tools, bits... at great discounts)!! I love the indoor lumber yard, especially in Chicagoland where the weather is always changing. They also have a better selection of products for light commercial buildings and their senior associates in various departments are well knowledgable very helpful. The Pro Dept. will work with you to make sure you're getting the best deal for your project- a rarity in these days from a large chain store! HomeDepot is a great store.
