Amazing help! I received a old lamp I know nothing about that had bad electrical. I sent them some photos and they responded quickly asking me to take some specific measurements then sent me links to the right parts! Now I have a beautiful and safe lamp, thank you!

The person in customer service was so helpful. I sent pictures of the inside of my lamp, she was able to give me the part numbers and help me get my new switch ordered. I just replaced my old one and my lamp is back and functioning like new! So happy!

It took me a while to find an antique lamp shade to replace the one my cat broke 🙄 All I can say is that it is beautiful. It took less than a week to arrive. Very well packed. I am very satisfied with antique Lamp Supply. Thank you

Some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I had ordered a part and was only given one option for shipping to Canada at checkout. I emailed customer service to ask if there were any faster shipping options for me. Stephanie answered the email saying she "can't change orders and she's canceling my order". I didn't ask to cancel my order at all; I was asking about shipping options! I immediately called, got her on the phone, she said she had to pull up my order and then she hung up on me. I called back and she admitted that she hadn't even bothered to look at my order, she just answered the email and cancelled my order. If she'd bothered to look, she could've just told me that weren't any other options for shipping to Canada. Now I have to wait even longer for a part that I wanted expedited in the first place.

WARNING....DO NOT buy lamp or chandelier parts from Antique Lamp Supply. I should have read the reviews of this company before I made a recent purchase. The descriptions of the parts they offer are inaccurate and most importantly, their parts do not fit because their measurements are off.

I measured my fixture carefully and ordered the right part, however, the parts did not fit my chandelier. When I reached out and sent an email about the problem, I received a response from Mary filled with sarcasm instead of answers. I truly believe their customer service department has no knowledge of anything electrical and is in the habit of blaming the customer whenever there are valid complaints about an order.

I then followed up and called the customer service department and spoke to Stephanie who ended up being worse than Mary. She told me I ordered the wrong part when I certainly did not and then told me to send it back. I told her I should not have to pay for postage to send back their incorrectly sized candle covers because it would cost more to send them back than they are even worth. After my very detailed explanation about why those candle covers are defective because they are sized wrong, she dug her heels in and told me I just ordered the wrong part. Unbelievable! This company will blame you when their parts are defective.

I went back and read some reviews of Antique Lamp Supply and found one that mirrored my experience with Stephanie exactly.....the reviewer even named Stephanie and that review was 2 years ago. She is a terrible customer service representative with no knowledge of the products the company she works for is selling. She told me there are 11 customer service people who work for Antique Lamp Supply and taking into consideration that 2 out of 11 were horrible, I assume customer service is not a top priority of Antique Lamp Supply.

I asked Stephanie who the president of the company is but she refused to divulge the name. I grabbed my computer and within seconds, I read a little history about the company and was stunned to see that 4 generations of the same family have been running it which is hard to believe with their shoddy customer service department. They obviously think very little of their customer base.

Stephanie said the president was too busy to speak to me and that he would call me back at "his" convenience. Wow.....she must be a relative of the owners because no employee of a reputable company would be allowed to treat customers in such a disrespectful manner.

So, I encourage the Barnes family, President Paul M. Barnes, Vice Presidents Barry and Michael Barnes, and especially Vice President/General Manager Gerald Hillis to examine your customer service department and make some changes to ensure that the next generation of the Barnes family has a company to run in the future.

My first time ordering from this company, so I was not familiar with the details needed to order a lamp harp and finial for a new lamp, purchased elsewhere.
I found an 8" harp on the website and ordered it. I also located a nickel plated finial, for which there was not a very big selection.
I placed my order and the package arrived in a few days.
I placed the harp on my lamp and when I placed the finial onto the harp, I found the finIal was too lage and would not screw onto the harp.
When I called the company, I was told that the screw and the finial had different diameters.
I have purchased finials in lamp stores before, and have never encountered finials fitting certsin size harp screws.
Returning the 2 finials is certainly not worth my effort, but there should be something on the ALS website to alert customers that they must match up the size of the finial with the screw on the harp.

The socket I ordered had the wrong sized fitting (and the website didn't say what size it was). I wrote customer service to inquire about other size options. Stephanie suggested I purchase another part. When I received the new part, it didn't go with the type of socket I had originally purchased. When I told Stephanie this, she said I should have read the description when I ordered the part (that SHE suggested)! I paid $11 to ship two small parts totalljng $5 and my lamp still isn't fixed and they say it's MY fault I didn't read the description. Terrible customer service and attitude.
