Gumdrop Fun Shop

Went there yesterday evening met the owners. They seem to be very nice Christian people. The store is a nice small place with lots of candy and toys for the children. They also offer treasure buckets that you buy and they have quite a bit of gems in them. Our children enjoyed washing the sand out and collecting the treasure.

While visiting Ellijay from FL, this cute place caught our eye so we had to take our little one in!! It was one of the best little toy shops I’ve ever been in!! Their selection and prices and setup were just fantastic!! They also offered a free beverage spot while you shop, awesome! So well done and nostalgic! Our little one absolutely loved it and said it was her favorite part of the whole trip, we even tried to go back once more while we were there but it was during their off hours and she cried because she was so excited to go back! We’ll visit again if ever in that area!

Great place to go for candy. My wife and I bought some gum drops, jelly beans and some chocolate covered gummy bears. My wife is hard to please with gummy bears and she said these are the best she has ever had. All of the candy was really good.😋👍👍👍

We were looking for hard to get Boston Baked Beans my wife had promised me and saw the Gumdrop Fun Shop. Sure enough they had them. The store had several other unusual candies, such as lollipops with bugs encased in the treat. My one son loves them! Weird. A very nice place for treats and sweets and gifts for the young at heart.

Our first time here! Excellent stop! We did the gem mining and bought a couple of small unique toys. Lady working was super friendly! Good selection of toys and candy. We had fun and will definitely be back!

Such a great store for kids of all ages. Our 2 year old all the way up to 7 year old had so many choices of fun, educational, and exciting toys and games to choose from. But the best part is the owner who is a joy to talk with. He gave us some wonderful tips for local activities along with a list of recommendations for the area. It doesn’t hurt that he’s a soccer fan as well!! The store is a compliment to the great little town of Ellijay.

My Family and I visit Blue Ridge every year and on our adventures last year we came across Gumdrop Fun Shop! My daughter fell in love with this little turtle we purchased. We got home, she lost it. I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet and nothing was going to replace Ray (her turtle) So I gave them a call and they found it for me and sent one out to me! We can't wait to go back and say hello again!

A really cute stop if you have kids or a kid you want to get a gift for. They had a little bounce house outside. Super unique toys and some 'old school' vintage type throw backs.

I brought my granddaughter here and we both loved it. What a delightful shop with a lovely variety of toys. They also had a great selection of candy including old fashioned candy. Definitely recommend you check it out and it’s fun for all ages.

This place is the best! And that guy Seth is super helpful with giving some candy recommendations. The gem mining is so much fun! I cant wait to go back and get more candy and hang out by the dinosaur. Thanks Seth for making it such a great visit for everyone.

This was a fun place to buy toys for a friend's child. They sell candy too but I stuck to the toy sections. The employee was not engaging with customers at all; however, that made the employee available immediately when it was time to check-out so that was nice.

One of the best places to visit of your not from Ellijay or our your a local.
I bought an awesome toy from my childhood here. I love it.
It’s a “Speak & Spell.” Helped me with my reading & spelling when I was a kid.

We are from out of town and highly recommend this shop. It has a wonderful toy and candy selection that kids love. Seth is extremely friendly and an excellent addition to the store.

Very cool place for kids of all ages (including myself). Staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. The gem mining is the BEST around. Good prices and excellent service!
