Walmart Neighborhood Market

My go to place when I'm shopping late or looking to avoid the more expensive groceries in the area. My only complaint is it's selection is a little limited, the neighborhood grocery in Covington is bigger and has a larger selection.

The store was nearby where I was staying. It was easy to find. There was plenty of parking. The employees were polite. The store was clean. Even though I was out of town I was able to use the Walmart App to quickly find the items. Self check out was quick. The prices were good.

Went In For a money gram. Associate was very helpful as I never used those services before.

Ms. Diane at self checkout is always so nice and pleasant. She goes above and beyond for her customers. The others are mostly nice and friendly, unless it's close to closing and then it could go either way. Overall, always a great experience throughout the store. Floor associates are very friendly and helpful. This is a well run store, always clean and organized. Associates actually greet and offer assistance.

A nice neighborhood market. The produce is fresh, the bakery has a great assortment. Dairy is almost always well stocked. They keep the center store aisles fully stocked; someone is always rotating and stocking shelves when I've stopped in. I have not used the pharmacy here but it seems like a popular choice amongst others. There really isn't anything lacking except a couple of items I really want that are only at the Walmart Supercenter. The people that work at this neighborhood Walmart are friendly. Access is great, it sits between two major roads just a short distance from the Causeway. Parking is ample for a small store. So all-in-all, would I recommend this store? Absolutely! Will I shop here again? Again, absolutely!

I want to share the great customer service I received today at the Walmart in Mandeville. I was loading my groceries in the car and dreading unloading the 35 pack of bottled water from the bottom shelf of my cart. The young man gathering the grocery baskets approached me and politely asked if he could load the water in my car. I thanked him profusely and told him I didn’t know if I could do it by myself. I was so grateful for his help. I wanted to tip him but he just walked away and continued with his job. His mother raised the man correctly and would be proud him if she saw her son going above and beyond. He was my Angel today. ❤

I love this store. Friendly staff, clean and if you go at the right time not crowded. In addition the prices are much less than alternative grocers.

Very good and convenient. I like that it is a small store and you can get most anything you like there. If they don't have it you don't need it. 😊

One of the most appealing aspects of this neighborhood Walmart is the fact that all of the employees are extremely friendly! There was an older lady that worked there at one point that was VERY rude but she has since moved on, making their team even stronger. She would cuss at people and just treat anybody any which way way she wanted and I thought was very inappropriate but nothing was her behavior was extremely inappropriate, but she’s gone now! Also, you definitely can’t beat the prices or the selection that this store has. The only thing I would have to complain about if anything would be the parking. They have the worst parking lot I believe in Mandeville! They’re doing a remodel of the parking lot to where people are able to become lazier and pick up their groceries right in the prime parking spots in front of the store itself. It is not ideal, as I believe the side of the store where the pick up is currently location is ideal! So, my question, why change it? All in all, I would give this store a five out of five due to it’s cleanliness, the friendliness of the employees, their selection and prices, and just for being an all-around wonderful place to shop!

I am very grateful for this little Walmart. Probably 90% of what I need regularly is there at good prices - they do a very good job. They even have a little hardware section which covers most emergency needs. Employees are very nice and the place is very clean.

Easy in and out. Had all I needed. Well organized check ot with employees monitoring the lines. Fresh Veggies, milk, cheese, peanut butter, bread and lots of frozen food. Bravo. Thanks for opening the store so fast.

Gary is an awesome employee. He is always friendly and kind. The Walmart pickup option is so nice already, then add in Gary's customer service and it makes the task of shopping something to look forward to!

The employees are always so friendly when I am there. The store also is well stocked with everything you need.

This is a nice little Walmart. They have a good selection of bread & produce. There was a good selection of fruit today. 😁☺8-11-22

I get my prescriptions here because they're always on time. They have a lot of variety of good quality food and products

Extremely clean... I just wish that they would sell their pizzas "HOT" like the Covington location does... Excellent location!!! Friendly employees, especially the cashiers... The Wal-Mart Pickup service is GREAT

They have great prices on products. They keep the store clean. Love their self check out registers. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Love grocery shopping here great prices like usual walmart but in a snack size location. Little to no wait in line I think in large part to their variety of checkouts (self checkouts some w belts and they also still keep a couple regular cashiers). Of which I can say, is a huge turnoff to going to larger walmart in Covington. Only gripe would be to hire a couple more cart personnel as at busy times I'll have to run into the parking lot.

Convenient, good parking. The on line order pickup works great except we forgot a couple items and you cannot online order wine so we had to go in anyway.

My Haven in a sea of Walmarts that bake me want to run away screaming. This place is so much smaller and easier to navigate. Very clean. Nice staff. Good selections.
