Dollar General

Close to home but not my favorite location. It has great products and really a big store compared to others in town. It's missing a little something tho, good attitude with some employees. Learn to loosen up and enjoy your customers more.

The store is clean and very spacious. There's lots of room to move around without feeling cramped. This store started out promising but the current manager is a cocky punk who is running it into the ground. He has poor leadership skills and even worse skills in management. The problem with some of these stories the managers forget they are stewards of their companies properties but yet instead they try to operate the location as if it was their own and that just reflects their poor understanding of basic management in general. Only a few stores are like this tho most of them have good managers.

This is possibly the worse Dollar General around! What's the point in 2 cash registers if one is always closed? They are always out of stuff on the shelf. There needs to be better management. It's more of an inconvenience then anything! I gotta go to town usually to get anything when it's close to home.

Hard to care about a store or company when it takes three weeks of asking about missing pay to be told you'll get it eventually.
