Love having Luke’s in my Cole Valley neighborhood! Great sandwiches, very friendly personnel & good selection of food items, although pricey, are always available. The quality is good and you can't beat the neighborhood convenience!

Cozy local grocery store. Great fresh produce, large selection of dairy and a nice deli. They offer a lot of vegan options (except oat milk...) and fresh bread from a few bakeries around the city.
You could also order coffee and sandwiches and sit outside, but to be honest, it seems like they haven't scaled up to cope with the growing demand.. waiting times could be quite long.

We love this locally owned grocery store! They have a great selection including their own products that make them unique. Their produce is the best. The take out meals are really good too.

We love their meats and most of the deli products! Someone said they get sick from the deli in the comments but we've never had that happen. Pricey but convienant, and good staff. Yummy Avo toast and nice coffee bar. Amazing for what it is and what they offer and grateful to live near a store like this.

Awesome place to shop! They have the best fresh breads and a nice selection of food to choose from. They also have many vegetarian and vegan options as well which is really appreciate! Also they sell a suuuuper good chocolate milk here,definitely worth trying! Friendly service and great location,definitely a great place to shop.

This place is great! Their sandwiches are amazing and the store is beautifully laid out. Love the concept of getting local fresh ingredients from farms around the Bay Area and California. To top it off, they have an app where you can order food, and groceries to your house!

I love this place and use it as my main grocery store. They have lots of food sensitivity-friendly foods (gluten free, dairy free), which I appreciate. Their prepared meals are great and I eat them several times a week. I’ve always found the staff to be quite friendly.

The best local grocery store I could ask for. All the produce is organic(!) - mostly local - better quality and prices than Whole Foods. Also incredible sandwiches, fresh fish & meat. It's our go-to & we're so grateful to have it.

Changed setup for covid - nice & easy. Got a pastrami sandwich, delish! All foods looked So good!

Wonderful place with all sorts of natural and organic foods. Although not a large place, I feel the store has a very comprehensive assortment of inventory. Of what I've tried, I particularly like the Safe Catch wild albacore tuna.

Great location, fast service trough out side window. So, no necessary getting into the store to make an order.

Many many (many) a morning I would grab a freshmade sandwich here before jumping on the N Judah and heading to work. A BLT, a turkey club or an egg salad sandwich, all are done with mastery and skill. Some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. They were the perfect thing to pull out of a brown paper sack four hours later and eat as my lunch. With a smile.

Somewhat overpriced but for the quality and convenience if you live nearby, I really appreciate this store! Their fruits and veggies are really fresh and higher quality IMO compared to chains like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.

We do most of our shopping here. It’s small, but has some of everything. The deli sandwiches in particular are delicious (my favorite: the sf Italian)

Every wine (including sparkling) I have purchased is a stellar value, absolutely delicious, lovingly curated. I love the Luke's Local brand of tomatillo salsa: yum.
