Valencia Bookstore

My experience at the campus bookstore was exceptional. I went to purchase my nursing uniform and the process was quick and easy. It was very clean and everything was super organized. Alanna was super helpful and guided me toward what i needed with ease. I also thought it was neat how much school spirit she had with her nails painted the school colors with the logo on it. I definitely recommend the west campus book store.

I have been using the bookstore since 2018. Everytime I placed an order I don’t have issues. I would recommend for you to order your book at least once you register due to books being sold out. Or look on Amazon to see if they have better deals. They do have a bad connection at times. Financial aid covers it at the book store and you do have a chance to ask for a refund only if you ask during the periods of time before it gets shipped to you.

Emailed them regarding an order a few days ago and never got anything back. Also tried calling and no one answered. I wont let my bad experience with a bookstore define my entire experience here at valencia like other reviewers. overall its been great. But in regards to the bookstore handling customer service, not so much. Valencia needs to address this issue. The west campus is their largest institution and serves the greatest number of students. This is obviously an issue affecting many.

If you're reading this review, I strongly advise considering the 1-star rating before proceeding. My recent experience with this bookstore has been far from smooth. I attempted to order an iPad using my financial aid, but even after 8 business days, the order hadn't budged. When I reached out about it, my email got forwarded to the "order fulfillment team." Unfortunately, after waiting for 4 more days, no one bothered to respond, forcing me to take the disappointing step of canceling my order.

Shipping is always a problem, went in person and they were not proactive in giving me answers. Did not help, Osceola Campus helped me in the end.

I had to dropped a course because I was not going to get my lab manual in time. Sure I could have ordered it a month prior, but usually everything ships within a week

I will never order from this bookstore again. They have a policy where they take your books out the VC vault after THREE days (not mentioned before you order the books to the campus) and if you don’t pick them up, they supposedly return them. It’s been over a month and no one knows where my books are, not even the school. Textbookx can’t issue me a refund until they receive the books back. The customer service is terrible btw. They don’t answer any emails or calls. Who do I have to talk to???

I don't know what's going on, but the bookstore has a poor system. I've sent two emails, called numerous times leaving a voice mail regarding my orders. I tried canceling the book orders, but my email request went unanswered. Another student called me today saying she received my book order and when my delivery came in today it was her text book. Question is who's getting paid to ignore student emails and why are they being paid to mix up someone's book order. A HOT mess is what I see.

I wish I could give A ZERO! They lost my book with UPS 2 days before class, and I was notified it was sent back to sender, to a guy named ramos. I had to drive 40mins to the bookstore to pick it up. No one answers phones nor emails which they encourage you to use. I get there and 2 workers are just sitting on their butts not doing anything. I even called the number while waiting for them to get my book back, and heard no ring. Ridiculous! They didn’t even send me a receipt confirmation to my email so I can get reimbursement through my job! They give students a fake customer service number and direct you to a ghost email. With all this money you can do better Valencia, Hire representatives! I will NEVER buy another book from here.

They never answer the phones. I ordered my books on 12/31 and I received an email saying i'm being refunded without any explanation. I have sent many emails and no one is responding. I have called many times as well and I am getting no response. Why is the bookstore open if you're not assisting the students? It's so rude.

waited almost 2 weeks to tell me my book was backordered. i have been trying to get in touch but their phone number is an immediate hold. i was notified via email and have been given no details. i need to get a refund to get the book since i need to buy it somewhere else for class but i cant get in contact with them, seems the only way to get anything done is driving over there in person. extremely disappointing service in every metric.

More of the same. Called three times (10am, 11am, 2pm) for 4 consecutive days, still haven’t gotten a single person to answer the phone and or return my calls. I sent an accidental email to them meant for someone else and they DID respond to that one saying they couldn’t help me with that (obviously), but ignoring my other emails actually meant for them. At this point, I think it’s funny but so so sad.

HORRIBLE!!!! Sad to say I go to school here . The bookstore can’t even help you nor get back to your calls that you’ve been calling all week and no one answer or returned my calls. Ive emailed and emailed and NOTHINGGGG. At this point Im about to go to someone higher up because this is unacceptable. I’ve received the wrong book and can’t proceed in my class without the right book. Thanks alot bookstore
