Goodwill Manasota Bookstore - Bradenton

After my first visit here, I know I'll be coming back. My husband and I both bought a stack of books - 8 books total, all for under $20! We couldn't believe the deals. Got a free bookmark too. The books are organized very well by author into various categories. All the staff members I encountered were very friendly and welcoming. Their selection isn't huge, but that highly depends on the donations that come in! They'll take anything that isn't an encyclopedia. I found books I loved in my childhood, books that were already on my current reading list and now won't have to pay full price, books that just look interesting from the cover, the list goes on. Please consider donating your unwanted books and come in to see what treasures you might find!

What a hidden gem, right here in Bradenton. I didn't find what I was looking for, but browsing through the multiple stacks, I found little treasures at ridiculously insanely low prices. I know these are donated books, but they looked, felt, and even smelled like new books. The little rooms for special categories were very nice touch. The staff were very nice and helpful. Left with a few gems, all for under 10 dollars. Don't forget to let them round up. It really is a good cause.

There are a lot of cool finds from books for MAD Magazine to books on crochet.

Nice selection of DVDs and board games too.

They also have a whole section for teachers.

The goodwill bookstore on 70 is so well organized, clean, and you never know what kind of treasure you’ll find there. Sometimes there are good Christian books, sometimes there are games and puzzles. The prices are wonderful!

Cool bookstore for the area. They really only had books, so it was very nice to only have one thing one your mind and not have to worry about the hustle and bustle of a regular goodwill.

Accidentally walked in here looking for clothes. Did not realize that Goodwill had bookstores. The staff was really friendly and they had a large selection including rare prints and metaphysical books I'm always looking for.

Love this store, my kids needed some classic books and it was available. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for any parent looking for school literatures.

I found it to be very much like a library as the books were sorted, shelved and for sale. If you like bookstores you will enjoy this shop.

Quaint little bookstore version of the goodwill store. They take donations as well. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I was impressed with how well organized the facility was. Not to mention the amount and variety of books they had to offer.

Love this place !! The only critique I have of it is I wish the books were in alphabetical order more like a library for author's last name. They do have some end caps with author groupings like for big names. But it is kind of a search for needle and a second time. However it's a clean store great stuff and great selection!

This is the most incredible Goodwill store filled with thousands of books. They have all the books organized by categories so you can easily go to the section you are interested in. Good job Goodwill.

Absolute best used book store you can find. All books are in super condition and priced below $3 or $4. If you catch a 50% off color sale it’s a win-win!!
