Salvation Army Thrift Store

I had furniture and several lawn bags and huge boxes of clothes , shoes, electric appliances, toys etc etc. My garage was full of donations waiting to be picked up by SA. Michelle had arranged for the pickup to be on the day that I had requested but then one of her donation pickup staff was injured and couldn’t work…long story short, she kept in touch with me by phone to assure me that she was working on making the pickup happen and she did! She got her husband to fill in for the injured employee and he and the driver of their truck were here on the day I requested! She was very nice to me and she seemed to take her job seriously and in support of an organization that helps those in need. So what if she monitors the store to prevent theft! I’m sure she has reason to do so. And whatever the prices the money goes toward helping people who may have lost everything in a fire or natural disaster. When you go there to shop just keep in mind it is a Thrift store and many of the items are top brands and may seem a bit on the high side but try buying them new and you will see the bargain you’re getting. I applaud Michelle for managing that store as tho she owns it.

We were visiting this charming town, Meridian, for a family event. Forgot our french press, but brought our special coffee. They had many choices. And we found other things we needed. Great prices friendly service.

I recently went to this store wearing girls clothes and was shopping in the woman section. One of the nicest persons I’ve ever met walked up behind me and whispered to me “ Are you shopping for yourself and I replied yes ma’am ! She was so sweet and helpful ! She even helped me by picking out sexy clothes for me to try on 👄

My husband and I visited a few weeks ago. This store is clean and nicely organized. Great variety of items and great prices, too!
