Giant Food

Shop here every week once or twice. Find well stocked and I am able to find what I came to purchase and then some. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful in bagging my purchases.

Giant Food in Springfield is a recently relocated grocery store with a various selection of products. This location has a Cheese Bar, a large selection of Wines / Beers & a Hot Food Bar. This is the Best Giant in the area.

A large, well-stocked supermarket in a great location with lots of shops and several good restaurants in the Plaza and an in-store Starbucks.

I love this place. The shelves are always fully stocked. The staff is super friendly and nice. The nice young lady and gentleman in the bakery department were super friendly and nice. I live in PG County and I will always come to this GIANT. The customer service is awesome. Let me not forget about the young lady in Starbucks. She was very knowledgeable about the hot drinks. She has A-1 customer service.

I was in store # 2745 on yesterday, 1/30/2023. As I was checking out, my credit card fell and as luck would have it, it slid under the cashier shelf. For approximately 25-30 min, Sharon, Agnes, Yvonne and another cashier, worked diligently to get the shelf apart to get to my card. When we couldn’t get the shelf apart, we saw the card through a hole , so with a pair of tweezers, an advertisement paper and 3 determined women. We maneuvered our gadgets and retrieved my card.
I’ve tried to find a way to send an email to the mgr but this will serve the same purpose. My experience in this store has always been pleasant and the employees are always smiling and friendly but this was by far, above and beyond Five-Star customer service.

Really nice store! I always refer to this one as Super Giant as it's quite a bit bigger than most. Always clean and great variety of products.

Wonderful Customer Service!!! I went to Giant Food grocery on Springfield Plaza shopping centers to get some sparking water before they close on November 20th late evening. I got the items that I need including sparking water and went to check out register to find out I didn't have my wallet with me. I really needed the items before they close and trid to pay with virtual credit cards or Gpay, but none of them seem to work for me. The cashier asked for help from customer service and young lady name Ager came to the rescue. She really tried her best to help me resolve the issues I had with the Gpay and virtual Credit card, but nothing seams to work. She saw my frustration and realized that I really needed the items. She paid for it out of her pocket and she said it is okay. I told her I will pay you back tomorrow and paid her back. She's truly an awesome and generous person ❤ to that kindness and she doesn't know me. She went above and beyond with her customer service.

Nice and fresh fruits

New construction, awesome location, huge store, largest variety, great staff, very decent buyers, member discounts, huge parking, space always available. Was K-Mart earlier. Giant Food main entrance closes at 9 pm, but next (exit) door is open till 11 pm.

10/10 interior and they even had a few extra dollars to get a Starbucks in that place

Very newly opened things look very intriguing welcoming to me. Crazy shopper I am. With no limits with no conditions if I see anything I wanted I just threw it into my cart🛒🛒🛒😺! Of course I look first for the discounted items😏😌👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻,!!!

Big store with tons of fresh foods and groceries.
1 cashier, but lots of self check out.
Know your prices and watch for sales.

This a larger Giant and offers a good variety. My standard Friday visit for seafood as they always have an excellent selection.

Kenny in produce exceptionally helpful in assisting with produce to complete a recipe. Carmen in check out very helpful in completing a multi order check out...quick and courteous!!

This has got to be the best and biggest giant in the area

The truffle cake was really great from the bakery. Very clean store, alot of great options.

Huge store with a wonderful bakery and produce selection. Plan on spending hours walking around as it is a real treat.

Great atmosphere, extensive menu, and plenty of gluten-free options.
