Brown County Winery

My wife and I stopped here on our way to Nashville recently and were very pleasantly surprised. We had the pleasure of being served by Zach, who was knowledgeable, attentive and super personable. He made our day! The wines we tried were very good, and the seating outside on the patio was pleasant, despite it being a very hot and muggy day. We were so glad we stopped in!

I really enjoyed this place. First off great variety to try. Second they give you 6 free samples which is unheard of these days but I really appreciate that. There were very good about waiting on us even though it was crowded. Love the Blackberry wine if you like sweet wines. Definitely try the port wines if you like that style they were deliciously smooth and tasty with a kick. We were fortunate enough To be there on a sunny day so set on the porch and drank a bottle of chilled win. Great way to spend an afternoon. Reasonable prices for their wines just make it that much better. Weekends

Although this winery lacks the beautiful secluded views of many wineries, their prices and quality are top class. Service was super friendly and personal. Very impressed with the Autumn wines. Highly recommend a stop when visiting Brown County. Cheers 🥂

Great tasting room and plenty of seating on the outdoor patio! We visited in the fall and the scenery around this location is wonderful.

The service was awesome and the wines are delicious. Very good balance on the menu from dry to sweet, and the seasonal wines and port are phenomenal. Shoutout to Justin for his welcoming presence, menu walkthrough, and delivering a friendly tasting experience.

My husband and I have been to brown country state park and downtown nashville about a million times, but we never had a chance to stop at this winery until now. We did a wine tasting, which was complimentary by the way... that's awesome! We loved pretty much every one we tried so we ended up buying a case of 12 different wines. Everything was very reasonably priced. Also did a little shopping in the little store. They had some really cute Christmas gifts for my girls at work! We then decided to take a bottle and some snacks onto their patio area. Such a nice relaxing afternoon getaway! Can't wait to go back!

Tastings are complimentary and you get to choose between 6-8. The person pouring was knowledgeable and personable. We picked out a few very tasty wines. They were also quite reasonable.

This is an adorable family owned winery. You are able to do 6-8 complimentary wine tastings. The bottles are really affordable (some are $9.99) compared to any other winery I've been to. My partner and I left with six bottles of wine. Definitely stop by Brown County Winery if you're traveling through this area.

An awesome place for both a big group or inner circle of friends to enjoy time together and have great wine. The staff is amazing and very friendly which keeps us coming back over and over.

I almost feel like the wine is too inexpensive. The quality I'd pretty good and it's a fun experience with friendly people. I'm thankful this place exists.

Not much of a wine drinker but after sampling the apple wine, I fell in love! So sweet and delicious!

I love this winery. Tucked into a hill right near Brown County State park. They offer complimentary tastings. I enjoy sweet wines and their Blackberry wine has always been my favorite wine, wonderful with a spicey dish or pizza. I also like their Vista Red, Vista White and Plum wine. They have an Old Barrel Port that packs an enjoyable punch. You can order online to ship as well!

My favorites are Autumn White and Old Barrel Port!

Luckily, the port is local, but have to make the trip for the Autumn White or pay shipping. Wish the dry wines were sold to liquor stores. I would buy more!!

This is the best wine I've ever tasted. I will not drink no other brand. I enjoy all their flavors but their BlackBerry wine is phenomenal and can't be touched,nothing comes close to the sweet taste of their BlackBerry wine. All flavors are great and the winery is a great place to visit. The staff are very appreciative and helpful. They made me feel right at home. As a conisurrie of different beers and wines brown county is 10 out of 10 without a doubt. If you haven't tasted this wine your missing out on life. Drink and enough this delicious brand.

Being that I am on crutches after bilateral total knee surgery, I had to get some more Golden Oak Port. The ramp was very functional to get in the building and the lady staff member very helpful to get my bottle, ring me up and carry it back to my car. Great tasting products and great customer services. Thanks

Love this place. They're very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm usually in and out quickly because I know what I like, but I always see people tasting and being well taken care of here.

Indiana is blessed with several teriffic wineries. Brown County is one of them. The people who work for them are very friendly and kind. They still do offer free tastings. I am partial to reds and there Vista Red and Vista Rose are excellent table wines. I highly recommend a trip to visit them.

Did the tasking and loved the strawberry wine. Also the bourbon wine is a must try. Ended up getting a glass and sitting on porch to enjoy. Took a couple bottles with us....super nice
