My husband and I purchased oak cabinets from Home Outlet to build a pantry wall. We primed, painted, and added handles to finish our vision for the project. The customer service provided exceeded our expectations and the staff was able to assist with questions we had as well. Home Outlet blew all the big box stores out of the water when it came to quality and price comparison.

All employees of this employee owned store have worked with me every step of the way for many months. They have been helpful from designing my kitchen & choosing the best cabinets with honest suggestions, to loading purchases. They have helped with special orders and given great advice when I've found myself faced with a problem. I'm not a contractor knowing what I need with an easy sale. I'm an old person having an in-law cottage built who knows little of what I've been tasked to do. I have been in the store on numerous occasions asking lots of questions & looking for help with each new thing the builder says I must supply for the build. Every visit has been positive & helpful. There is never salesman pressure & if you're easy going they are a happy bunch that will have you laughing and smiling giving you a break from the stress & the pressure you're under! Prices are easy on the pocket & selections are pretty good too. Great experience all the way around. Happy helpful employees who truly like to help their customers. I look forward to working with them through the completion of my little home knowing they will help me to the best of their ability with honesty, always putting me first.

Bought a large bathroom vanity from the Home Outlet. They had a great selection and the employees were friendly and helpful -- this is an employee-owned store.

These are good people with whom to work, the prices are very competitive, and they have a lot of interesting stuff. I'll be back.

And Mark assisted with my order.. they were both very helpful and she was actually the one who helped my spouse last week and prompted this return trip and purchase at home outlet.. nice employees, wide aisles, large selection, very good prices, and military discount.. product is excellent as well.. will be returning for more after kitchen is done, will start on one of the bathrooms, and will be shopping here, thank you..
09/29/23 - EDIT - I was in on the 25th to purchase product for a customer; wheeled it out and had assistance with loading it; i want to let EVERYONE know, that the customer service at this location has always been great.. I was driving home, and my assistant was doing the Google review; I had thought she had figured that my discount was not applied.. after the review was posted, within 2 days, Maria had called to insure that it was in the total purchase amount; so I apologize to her, whomever rang up the sale, and to Home Outlet; as it is always a pleasure to shop here.. I will now call the store as well as leave this updated review: I have Always enjoyed shopping this store.. thank you for being at least close to the highway(even if not closer to the Alabama line).. will always return for more product in the future.. thank you again..

We've been wanting to replace our carpet with engineered wood/laminate, and I got a flyer in the mail for Surplus Warehouse. I wandered in just to see what they had, and ended up finding everything I needed and more. They had a huge selection of laminate, vinyl, real wood, and wood-mimicking tile, and they were displayed in a way that made it easy to quickly decide which I liked. More than that, though, the help provided by Dex really went above and beyond.

I had tried to educate myself about the options, but when it comes to laminate flooring, there is so much conflicting information out there. Dex helped me understand the differences in the types of products, made me aware of important things to consider for each, and also gave me contact information for a few installers to try. The person Dex recommended for installation is extremely fairly priced, and has a great approach to his work, and we couldn't be happier.

Surplus Warehouse has such phenomenal prices that we were actually able to afford updating the baseboards and doors as well. Much more importantly to me, though, every single person I spoke with there was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. They were happy to share information and make recommendations, and they made it easy to do business with them. If you're looking to update your home or take on a new project, definitely check out Surplus Warehouse!

I had already priced at a competitor and the project was going to cost me close to $800. I went in the store just looking and the salesman was very helpful with my limited knowledge of the project & gave me a price of less than half of what I was quoted. I went back 2 days later to purchase flooring, net a different salesman who was equally as helpful and got everything I needed. I will now be a continuous customer and will refer anyone to the store!

I've been to this store 3-4 times in the last month and will still go back there first before going to Lowe's or Home Depot while finishing my project. They have been overly helpful at each visit (even considering they are in a warehouse with NO A/C!) Everything I have purchased for my current project has costs 1/2 or more less than the above-mentioned stores. Just wanted to share my honest feedback about the store, over-all. Considering the heat, cold, rain and any other weather element that they are pretty much working in everyday, all day, for people like us :)

The gentleman that helped us was from Panama City and he was working our store because the Panama City store was damaged in Hurricane Michael. Despite all he was going through and dealing with in his home town, he was cheerful, helpful and very polite. Keep up the great work!

Everyone was very helpful. Made sure that we had everything for our new tile floor. They have a good selection of tile. Military discount too.
