Cuban born in Cuba here. Have not eaten there since 2019. There must be a lot of haters here giving negative reviews. We both ordered roast pork, moros. I had mangu, she had yuca. The food was cooked/seasoned as expected and was delicious. Ate there at one of the booths. At $9/entrée, a bargain and we got 6 meals out of the 2 entrées. Bought guava & cheese bread and it was also delicious.

Go here if you want the BEST in spanish food. Platters are huge and they really hook you up. Love that the last time i was here was 6 yrs ago but when i went back they still had my fav dish...6 stars if i could and a huge thumbs up for serving me what i been missin from back home. You all are the best!!

The food is delicious and provides an experience in Latin food that gives me the desire to return every time I get to the Tampa bay area. Not only do they have prepared food ready to enjoy but, an excellent selection of supplies for the people that home cook as well.

Great hot food selection, meat and 3 style. It has that certain carribean vibe we've all come to love in Tampa. The grocery store part is fairly standard when it comes to ethnic markets. Chances are they will probably have what your looking for unless its a really rare item.

Stopped here today to pick up lunch for staff. I was going to go to Pollo Tropical next door, but thought I’d give this small business a shot. Ordered yuca, pigeon peas and rice and roast pork from the cafeteria and a loaf of Cuban bread from the market. Food was delicious and the prices just right. Also, their cafe con leche - muy rico !

I always came here to buy homemade Spanish food. They have from different counties like Cuba, Dominican, Puerto Rico, and sometimes Mexico. It is cheap and you can take out or eat right there. Staff bilingual and helpful. The store is very small.

Food is delicious. If you want to get the real taste of Latin and Spanish food at an affordable price this is a place. Only for TO-GO. They do not have enough space to sit everyone.

This place has great food rice was perfect chicken was juicy, succulent and well browned. Coffee amazing!!! A great place to stop and pick up food on the way home from work, that's how I do it.

Great Spanish food but if you don't speak Spanish none of the staff speak English at all

Edit: Reply to...I am assuming owner or employee of El Oso, no worries here I still shop there all the time lol your pork is way to damn good to stop shopping, my only issue is asking what certain foods are, only response I get is beef when I ask.

I am like 4th generation from Spain, I speak no Spanish, parents speak some grandparents speak mostly and older spoke no English at all.

Your place is great, as long as your open I will continue to shop there.

I've been going to the oso Blanco since 2001 eating good Spanish food the people are Pleasant and friendly and the cook love him to death I think that's why I'm dying I gained 20 lb because it also Blanco shame on you all guys love papi the owner i call him papi the cook I call him El Gordo...

They have great Spanish food there. Everyone is so friendly.

Always been one of the best places in Tampa to eat Latin food. Large selection of hot food to choose from.

Honestly I feel like all the people that complain about the employees being rude are privileged snowflakes. Every single time I come here the people are super nice and friendly and the food is AMAZING and so are the prices.

They have a really nice buffet in this place - great selection of Latin American foods. The grocery store is really nice as well, with a good assortment of groceries.

I love this place. My favorite meals are: ox tail with white rice, plantains and Arroz con Gandules and fried red snapper!

Love their restaurant side. Great Spanish food, big portions, good price!

Some great reasonably priced food from a local spot. Always delicious. Love their ceviche!
