Never left a review before for this place because I assume everybody knows it, but just in case you don’t this is the best bait shop in town. I have been to every one. Some are hit or miss. Some are just tourist traps with junk service but this is the local shop everyone goes to.

Came to Fort Myers from Canada, Anderson Tackle was very helpful, good prices and tons of fishing gear. It was nice to see them open at 6 am.

One of the most well stocked fishing stores in the County. Quality gear from numerous manufacturers at competitive prices. They have a good assortment of live and frozen bait along with walls and walls of artificial offerings. A huge assortment of clothing options rounds out this fantastic store.

Fantastic bait and tackle shop. Tons of variety for all levels of anglers. Quality live bait, great lure selection, buckets of ice, and local fishing tips from Jon Anderson. This is a great place to stop before Punta Rassa Boat Ramp, or heading onto Sanibel / Captiva.

Extremely well stocked with a really big variety of artificial lures and live bait! Extremely nice staff! Best all-around fishing store around the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area.

Best tackle shop in swfl in my opinion. Seems like they have more inventory than like Bass Pro. They stock plenty of frozen baits for offshore and carries a great selection of tackle and gear from inshore fishing to deep drop fishing. Great selection in slowpitch jigging stuff as that is blowing up here is swfl. And has plenty of ice!

Stopped by to look at fishing reels - the young guys at Anderson's know their stuff. Showed me various Shimano reels at different price points - ended up buying a Stradic 3000 XG. They loaded it up with some 15 lb braided line and I was on my way. I paid the same price for this reel as I would have paid on Amazon or at Bass Pro. Moral of the story: support our local businesses!!!!

Great little bait shop. Good selection of equipment and accessories. Prices on rods and reels are close to the bigger outdoor stores, and the bait is reasonably priced as well. Great customer service. They are there to help. Friendly, comfortable store to visit. I highly recommend checking out this spot first for all your fishing needs.

Great place. Showed up not filling knowing what we would need and they not only took care of us but also got everything set up and running. Threw in a free hat and shirt on top of it! Great prices and great staff.

Great store. Nicest owner and staff in the area. Always friendly and gives you a great price on shrimp bait. My brother in law and family friend always get their bait and fishing gear here. I love coming here when we come visit my in laws.

I’ve been going to Anderson’s for years. Greatest bait and tackle shop in town hands down! Anything you need from the smallest hooks to the biggest (and best) fishing reels and rods, plus live/frozen bait, they have it! Don’t just take my word, go get some fishing gear and see for yourself. Personable/Knowledgeable and friendly staff to get you situated, from dock/pond fishing to the largest offshore wrecks, Anderson’s has it all.

First stepped into Anderson's this morning. The best salt water tackle store ive been inside in my 35 years of buying gear. Amazing selection of rods and gear. Will be my go to store from now on. Open from 5.30 in the morning too. Just awesome!

John, the owner, is awesome! He always gave me more shrimps than my "usual' special 50 for $11 deal. He will give you some great fishing tips if you asked! He has good understanding of what fish is biting and what is not at any time of the season. He is a great guy...I recommend Anderson's Tackle to all my friends and family.

John is the hardest working tackle and shrimp guy you could hope for in this awesome shop. His dedication is up there with the pope. I’ve watched him grow his shop from a small tackle joint into the full fledged competition to bass pro. His competitors have come and gone trying to rip people off for basic shrimp. He is always generous and honest. Best shrimp in town.

I always go here to get some shrimp before my fishing trip. The place has good customer service and advise when it comes to your fishing trip. The prices are reasonable and they have literally everything that you need in there and more. I won't take my business elsewhere if I plan on fishing around Ft. Meyers

This is the best bait and tackle shop in Fort Myers. It’s a small family-owned place so you might have to wait a little. But his prices will beat West Marine - compare.

Bait is fresh. John Anderson inherited the place from his dad. John doesn't fish much - he works all the time .
