First time trying their plate lunches. Everything was well seasoned & Delicious 😋. Definitely going to be my spot! We had a big order for others I picked up for. We had turkey in gravy & rice green beans, & potoes salad . Others had barbque pork ribs & chicken & rice dressing with sides of greens, corn, sweet peas... Everything was well seasoned and perfect flavor and serving about for the price was awesome... Friendly works I'll be back thanks!

The people were super friendly and helpful. I think about going here often, but I'm not always in the area to go. The delicious food, the people and the fun atmosphere - complete with music out front - makes me want to come back!😌👍

I took my friend there to get her a plate lunch and it was busy!! Everyone goes there just to get the food of the day. They cook it so good and have a variety of lunches and there's burgers, chicken and stew's and seafood. Just about anything you want they have it but it all depends on the day that you go for lunches. Good place!

I was recently made aware of this place and OMGosh will I be a regular! The 1st time I ordered their beef stew; it was delicious. I ordered crawfish etouffee today w/ a fried catfish added.
The food was so delicious. The catfish was seasoned perfectly.
They give a good sized helping at a much lower cost than a lot of plate lunch places. This is the spot.

This place is a hidden gem on the north side. Their lunch plates are so good for a great price. Parking gets pretty packed but ya know, its still worth it.

I give this place 5 stars because the food and the service was amazing. I got the fish family deal with fries and a 2L drink. The place is run by a family and they treat all their customers as family too.

Man this is off da chain. Had to say it because that's what it is. Tried the 2pc fried fish with rice and gravy. Then ordered the smothered chicken with 2 sides. Saturday lost my mind on the BBQ chicken and the smothered turkey wing plate. All under 14 bucks for two nice plates. Warning be there early especially on Saturday for the BBQ. Hey give us Furniture guys a break cause we be in there just like the city workers. 4 just saying. Good eats and God Bless.

Amazing food. And even though it was a long line they moved people quickly and efficiently. The prices was great as well. A hidden gem. The neighborhood could throw you off but don't be discouraged, just careful. Worth the food.
