Bread & Butter Neighborhood Market

Came in to buy from sourdough, in a baguette! Went home to make some yummy French bread pizza and got some green chili Italian sausage. I made some biscuits and sausage gravy and sausage biscuit sandwiches. 10/10. Will be back, love Shawn of the Bread!!

I just absolutely love this place. I live and work near downtown, I never stopped in for years because I always assumed it was just your average quick stop. Boy was I wrong this place has been my go to now for the last year. With tons of organic, natural, vegan/GF and locally sourced options to choose from I don't have a single reason to go anywhere but here. Not to mention the staff is always a pleasure to interact with. Every time I walk out of this place I feel refreshed. Which is something I can't say for your standard grocery store.

For fantastic gourmet foods and all the pantry staples you can imagine, Bread and Butter is a great stop on your way to wherever you roam. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and always has suggestions if you want them. Great selection beer, wine and spirits. You will always find delicious supplies here in a food desert. Thanks B&B!

Simply put this place is cool as hell. If you care about high quality ingredients and don’t mind paying for it, this is a great place to stop and shop around. Lots of fresh baked goods and a liquor store as well. Highly recommend.

Well stocked yet compact neighborhood grocery store. Huge wine selection, fun non-alcoholic drinks, pastries, bulk foods, produce, freezer section, and a good selection of fresh ready to eat foods for when you're too tired to make dinner. Lots of local products, which is fun since I'm visiting from out of town. Plenty of parking in the back. Friendly staff who will help you find things. Prices are slightly higher than at Safeway but the convenience and pleasant experience mean I'd choose this place any time.

Very nice shop with lots of items. Fresh produce, honey, tea, coffee, oatmeal, foods, chocolates, bread, pies. We picked up some local raw honey, honey sticks, a baguette baked that day - the baguette was airy, soft, chewy, great for tearing apart and snacking or sandwiches. They have some nice Amish made pies too. Will definitely be back!

Bread & Butter has healthy grocery options always stocked! Warm and friendly staff alway there to help! It's affordable and I have yet to find better produce at a big name grocery store for same or better price! Definitely going to be a regular!

I work downtown and this great little place is only a 10 minuet walk for me. They have a fantastic selection of organic, local, and even low carb items to choose from, and you cant go wrong with picking up one of their reusable bags! I keep mine hanging up in my office to take with me when I need a walk and a snack.

What a welcome to Colorado Springs! We stopped in here before our airbnb to gather supplies. I'm so glad we chose here to stop. Eric and Karen were so kind & helpful, and there are so many local, healthy, and fresh options.

Cute little grocery store that has the necessities and local produce you’ll need in a pinch if you don’t want to go to a big box store. It was right down the street from my hotel.

I drove past this place all of the time, and so glad that I stopped today in search of a low carb lunch. They had tons of options for me to choose from! I got the chicken salad and it’s so yummy and not drenched in mayo. Everyone working was super nice! I’ll definitely be back often! 💜💖

Come on back! Every time I do, I find something new and delicious. - and I promise you won't find a friendlier staff anywhere in town. - So glad this hidden gem continues to thrive. Bread and butter is a wonderful small grocer. The staff is great. Local food and flowers and goods. It’s a convenient place to stop for lunch or a beverage, and the perfect place to grab a bottle on the way to friend’s house. The size of the market is just right to run in and grab a few ingredients on the way home.

Very local, friendly and yummy! Try the fresh pastries. Blossom Baking is amazing!
