Safeway Pharmacy

This pharmacy is a breath of fresh air! All the staff is so personable and caring. It’s like being back in a small town where everyone takes care of each other. Their expertise is also top notch. They have the medication on hand that my family needs and their pharmacist is awesome. I really cannot say enough good things about the Village Center Safeway pharmacy. I’m so glad we transferred our care here.

Wonderful experience getting Covid booster as a walk in! Went in at 2.40 pm on Wednesday and the most cheerful pharmacy tech I have ever seen gave us our Pfizer boosters. (Larissa I think is her name.) Plus you get a 10% off coupon up to $200 with every vaccine!

I switched from Walgreens to Cvs now to them. Walgreens is a complete joke! CVS was better but the staff doesn't communicate so I never got my meds when I asked for them. But I am pleasntly surprised at the great Customer Service I receive everytime I come to this pharmacy. They always have my meds ready and if they don't they do it right away. Now that's service! Thank you hard working hero's!

Currently without insurance that covers the prescription i picked up, Sandy and Lynette helped me out and set me up for the "no-insurance" discount that i didn't even know there was an option for. Thank you! You ladies over there are so sweet and always very kind whenever i see you. Thanks again!

This pharmacy is inside Safeway. The people are nice and they are never crowed like all the other places. Prices are the same for me no matter where I go because of insurance but I like this ones because I can also get my dinner stuff while I am waiting. One stop shop.

The pharmacists and staff always go above and beyond to help. I liken their quality of service to the drugstores of bygone era. A+

Pharmacy has always bent over backwards to fill my sons prescriptions, and the store is always clean and well stocked.

Pleasantly surprised at how empty the pharmacy was on a weekday morning. Quick and easy to pick up a prescription. Pharm tech could have been a little friendlier but that wasn’t a big deal. I’d go back.

I had an appointment to obtain a birth control prescription through the pharmacy. The pharmacist just had a scribbled sticky note from another pharmacist to remind them of my appointment. The pharmacist continually commented on how she was understaffed and on how she had no training in regard to how to perform my wellness exam, birth control types, fill the paperwork, or file with my insurance for the prescription. She didn't know which way the blood pressure band should go and I had to show her. There was a wait for other people in line, even though there were two pharmacists. After an hour, I ended up telling her I'm getting my prescription elsewhere because I wasn't sure they would process it correctly. They were super kind but need to be trained and staffed with supervisors. Mine was just a birth control prescription, but it could have been someone else's life-saving medication, and that's not acceptable

We have had so many issues with this location. They are not friendly, usually behind or out of the medication. Once I commented to the younger lady checking me out that she could be more polite and she walked away from me. They don't answer the phone so we have to make an extra trip to check if they received the prescription.

Its time we’ll bring our business elsewhere. Maybe back to the Academy location because they were much more helpful and friendly.

Came to Safeway must had over 5 people in front at checkout. Not a single regular register open and instead a long line to check out and bag your own groceries. Many people with large orders jamming up registers. The self check out does not allow you to remove your groceries. Check out lights blinking for help. And people with 20+ items. Safeway your groceries are more expensive than Walmart in King Soopers. Please explain why you will you would not have anyone working the registers?
