I stopped in to see if they had some seaweed salad. I found some frozen and also some frozen lotus root in a vegetable mix. There were lots of unusual Japanese items that may be hard to find elsewhere. Lastly, I found a bottle of American made Sake to try! Great little store to pop in on.

Small clean grocer that carries everything I need when looking for hard to find items, from oddly specific tea brands to sushi grade fish. Staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have about the products and their proper application. If you love preparing Japanese cuisine and want to avoid shopping in some of the other very suspect Asian markets, this place is perfect.

Great, local place. I wish the owner nothing but the best. His friendliness and produce/service has made me very happy and filled a hole that isn't the easiest to fill in the United States. It's worth a look for sure.

Curry packets and sauces, pickled plums, a variety of good meat and fish products, noodles, and fresh breads on Thursdays are some of the things offered here.

Good selection of snacks. They have curry seasoning. Good selection of noddles. They have awesome rice cake snacks. This roll cake is amazing. It is light airy and fluffy. Its creamy and a great amount of sweetness. I will definitely always come back for this cake. 10/10

This is my favorite store for senbei. They have a rotating variety that always pleases. They have real Japonica rice, and if you make rice in a Komado-san like we do, this is a can't miss. Exceptional seasonal delights are always showing up, too.

Small store but they have the basic stuff you will need and some items that you can’t find in other stores.

I love this place. The man who runs the store (he's a mysterious stranger) is a very friendly person (he's my favorite stranger) and always makes sure we have a good experience when we're there. The selection of items is very good and changes seasonally. We usually just get snacks, but everything in the store is high quality. If you're lost about something or just need recommendations, just ask and you'll always be pleased with what you end up getting. Keep in mind that this is a Japanese grocery store and is fairly small, please do not confuse it with an Asian Market or you will be disappointed.

This store is compact, but well organized and the staff is friendly. We will continue coming here as long as we can, love the selection of quick ramen (bagged, microwavable bowls, boil-in-a-bowl) and of course they have everything you could need to do it homemade if you have the desire. Nice looking selection of Japanese dishware and utensils. The man running the counter was friendly and happy to answer questions about specific products we were looking for.

Friendly and helpful owner, great selection of Japanese ingredients, sashimi grade fish, snacks, and booze! Outstanding quality and a good variety of products despite being a small store. Absolutely love this store. I couldn't find a bamboo wisk for my matcha tea anywhere else but here. Despite the size of the store I'm always surprised with what I find there. They had snacks from home I hadn't seen anywhere else except in Japan. And the ingredients although few in variety are always
of good quality. The owner or manager is super friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier to have found such a gem.

The staff is awesome! They have helped me with recipes and even travel plans. The stock can be revolving, but I always find what I want. Clean store, open layout, helpful staff. The prices are equal to most of the Asian markets in the area. Small store, but great variety.

They remembered us between visiting over a year ago. They get awesome pastries on Thursday afternoons. The staff is friendly, the store is clean. If you're seeking Japanese food, goods, and treats - this place is worth checking out!

Very friendly and helpful. Has a great selection for such a small shop. The man there was willing to order almost all our supplies for sushi night (given enough time) and we were feeding 20+ people.

I love shopping at this store for the nice selection of quality, Japanese foods. The merchant is friendly, professional and always helpful. The store is clean and neat.

I want to note that I wish the parking lot was kept cleaner. It doesn't help the all of merchants since that is the first and last thing seen.

Very friendly and helpful! The man working helped me pick out the dashi for a recipe I want to make. He read through the recipe before making a recommendation. I appreciate the the time he took. Also the store is clean and well organized.

Wonderful little shop! It's not very large but it has a fantastic selection of products. The store keeper was very nice and helpful for finding and translating the items I needed. I highly recommend this clean, organized, cozy Asian grocery.

So I recently went to Japan and I miss alot of the drinks and snacks that were over there. I went to just about every Asian market I could find and wasn't able to find the snack and drinks I wanted. Just bout ready to call it quits when I saw the store pop up on my Google locator. Not only did he have some of the drinks I have been looking for in stock he said he has them quite frequently. I can tell u this he has my business from now on. Super friendly and super helpful reminded me of being back in Japan. Definitely worth going to.

Just wanted to update this post. I went back over the weekend because this is a wonderful shop. I bought more than I had planned because everything I needed was there. The place is clean and the shopkeeper was helpful and courteus. I love coming here. It would be better for the store and other businesses if one could avoid the parking lot. If I were to drive by, I'd miss it due to some of the litter around. Otherwise, the shop is full on gold.
