Cardenas Markets

We LOVE Cardenas Markets! They have the freshest meats and produce. You can’t go wrong with their quick service hot bar that serves hot wings, birria, carnitas, chicken, plantains, tacos, burritos, ribs, rice and beans—all for an excellent price! We also love their bakery, their hot tamales, their variety of salsas, their cheese/sour cream deli, and their ceviche bar—SO FRESH! Did I forget to mention the handmade tortillas and chips? Always warm and always freshly prepared right there! We love to come here and pick up food for parties or dinners. The market itself is very clean and although usually busy, they have plenty of self check out counters so you can get in and out pretty quickly.

If you enjoy fresh tamales pork, chicken and cheese and more, Wow you'll come to the right place. Fresh seafood ready to be cooked. The people who work there is ready to help. Plus get smoothly I had mango. Perfect. Pastries bring your family for restaurant so much more here. Come and enjoy

First time to shop at Cardenas. I came looking for their Tres Leches cake. My coworker brought some when we had a potluck, and I liked it a lot.
I gave them 5-star because, the place was clean, the lady in the Bakery was helpful, and they have what I was looking for. I was a pretty satisfied customer. 😀

Great seasoned meats as well as amazing 99 cent pastries. I haven't tried the restaurants in the store yet, but they seem popular with patrons.

Best meat market carne asada in town when cooked right hands down. Whole family loves it. Great staff back there.

I live in Winchester and anytime I want to buy Chicharrones Lonja I have to either go to San Jacinto or Lake Elsinore. It is a shame that even though we have a Cardenas in Murrieta I have to drive that far to get what I need. My store never has it available. I have spoken to the Manager and even though he promised to have it 2 days later, that did not happen. I found Cardenas in San Jacinto very nice and they were very friendly and plenty of what I needed.

I love this place. We come Everytime I visit my sister in Murrieta. We love the fresh homemade chips and salsa!

thank you so much for bringing salsa san luis to your stock! i used to have to ask my family in texas to mail some to me, or ask my grandma to bring me some from mexico. now i can buy them locally myself. delicious!

The tamales are the best around. Some of the best I've had actually. Lots of beef filling and great flavor and moist. Everything you want from a tamale.

Lots of wonderful foods to choose from. Very large meat counter with just about any kind you want. Prices were pretty reasonable, some things were more expensive than other stores. And they have the biggest pork rinds I have ever seen.

I had never been to this supermarket. I was so happily surprised at the quality of the produce section. I didn't try the bakery products, but they looked and smelled delicious. It reminded me of when I was younger and you took a number to be helped at the meat counter. A large variety of cuts and meats. The candy section: I seriously wanted all of the candy! We tried the "aguas frescas" and they were amazing, I had heard that the food made there is very good, but had not tried it...I can confirm it's very good. I will be coming back to try more of their dishes and do my shopping here.

Shout out to Norma in the Bakery. She created the most beautiful cake for my Goddaughter’s Baby Shower. The bakery here is amazing with such a large assortment of treats. The custom cakes are delicious AND beautiful. Thank you for adding to such a special day.

I go there to buy lunch. On top of the supermarket, they have food court that serves good Mexican food
