Von Maur

One of my favorite stores. They always have the best shoe and purse collection. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

I shopped at Von Maur at the Galleria in Hoover, Alabama yesterday. It was the most pleasant shopping experience I have had in many many years. I had honestly forgotten what it is like to have friendly sales associates help you. Von Maur not only offers quality merchandise in a beautiful environment but they also totally understand the value of excellent customer service. I highly recommend!!!

Love this place. Every time we go kids require a visit to the tree and play. Great sale items, and quality unmatched in Birmingham. Go today! You won’t be disappointed!

The environment at this place feels welcome and great really enjoy walking around and also decided to check the restroom and everything was on point

This is my favorite department store. The service is impeccable. The selections include brands not found locally. The wide array of styles and options and the environment is the best in the city.

Very classy, very clean, and professional staff, and they are very nice I love going to the men's department on the second floor and visiting this machine that takes me back in time,be sure bring your own coins no dollars,(The movie Big ), go during Christmas also

After visiting a couple of Von's big box competitors in the mall, we stopped in. The competitors were disorganized and finding informed help was difficult.

In Von Maur however, we found a clean and organized store. In the shoe department Shaista was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful! My experience today would have me stopping in Von first upon my next outing.

The town of Brookwood is a very family Friendly and close group of coal miners . It’s a coal town and has been since the 60’s and the ballpark is definitely a place to take kids and enjoy your day

The Associates are very helpful and caring. They give you absolute personal attention. They recognize and speak to me when I come in and always with a smile. I feel like I have personal shoppers. The merchandise is beautiful and unique. I absolutely enjoy going and buying from this store. Also the piano playing and music is quite relaxing. Thumbs up!!!

This is an excellent place to shop. Everything is well organized and clean. They actually have staff around. I have gone to other stores like Belk or Macy's where you pay similar prices and their service is horrible. You have to search for help and when you do find them they seem bothered you help them... BUT NOT at Von Maur. They are more than staffed, they are happy to help... in all areas of the store including the gentleman's area. It is pricey but with the quality and service. For people that want to be minimalist and get less clothing with good quality and great service. This is the place! I have decided I will be coming here 1st when I am looking for something in particular. For the frugal side of you, the sales racks are loaded with great deals. Check them out!

Always my go to store when I visit Hoover Galleria. Once bought a great Jack Victor suit there and other quality clothing and shoes. Just some JM sunglasses to accompany my Oakleys.

Upscale department store with VERY attentive sales people. Always very friendly. Brooks Brothers, Tommy B and Tori Richards are my go tos here. Also like the Southern Tide and Southern Proper brands. Bought a half dozen or so dress jackets - they come with free tailoring. Small shoe dept but a great selection. Even the wife and daughter come out spending way more than I had hoped (mostly in the purses and shoes) but still very solid values. Very clean, love this place!

Great sale on kids and women shoes, got 3 pair of name brand shoes for $104 unbelievable...sidebar was told by a very nice sales lady that Wednesdays at 10am are markdown days.

Von Maur is my first stop when I am clothes shopping. I love a well organized store where you can walk without tripping over merchandise. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. The relax calming atmosphere makes shopping there a pleasure.

A beautiful department store that’s surprisingly not overwhelming to shop at. They have a great perfume selection and good sales on clothing.

My Daughter was looking for a homecoming dress and a friend recommended Von Maur. It's a little high priced for me personally but the woman who worked in the department were my daughter was looking was AMAZING! She was the nicest and sweetest woman I've met. She was patient with my daughter and even laughed and cut up with us. My daughter found her dress thankfully. I don't think she will ever forget that night. She made sure to go back and thank her before we left!

I love this store. Gloria helped me find the perfect dress for my company Christmas party. She also found shoes to go with it. If you're looking for a more personal touch to your shopping come here. Prices are higher but so is the quality and service. This is my 2nd experience shopping here and I'll definitely be back. Thank you for providing such amazing service!

This store is the most fancy place around. The store is beautiful and all departments are great. I love their shoe selection, cosmetics, casual stuff and high-end brands. Staff is very kind, polite, and helpful. And the piano playing gives this store a real air of elegance. Never quit that!!

I like the service here. Prices are just ok. They do not have sales as deep as other big box stores nearby, but they make up for it in service. They are very knowledgeable and attentive. Free gift wrapping at Christmas is an added bonus.

I love this store! There is always a sales associate offering their time and help. The gift wrap is free and first class. The store is beautiful and everyone enjoys the pianist. The selection is huge and I usually
end up buying more than I intended. Great job Von Maur!
