Very good deli I always come here when I’m working in this area

I've been coming to this spot for the last 6 years. Went when I was a student at UCSD and I work right by it so I go regularly for lunch, breakfast, snacks. This place is so cool! They've got such a wide selection of beers, wine, spirits, DELICIOUS sandwiches, toiletries, drinks, snacks. It's awesome. And it's all very reasonably priced. My favorite part about this spot is the owner though. He is so friendly and helpful, he remembers your orders, remembers your name. Awesome little neighborhood market with good products and run by good people.

My go to neighborhood liquor store. They have pretty much everything you're looking for whether it's alcohol, snacks or drinks. Their deli is one of my favorites. I highly recommend you check out their deli if you're looking for a good sandwich. I love the owner there as well. He's very welcoming and funny. I am a customer for life and love supporting Spirits of St Germain.

Really good sandwiches here! I've been coming to this place for quite some years whenever I'm in the area. Great selection of beer and liquor as well. A bit tucked back into a shopping center but you'll find it. Just had the turkey club and loved it. Cool place!

I was at the doctors office across the street and was told about the best sandwiches at the liquor store. WHO knew? So I walked over and got a turkey club with avocado and a free side of potato salad with a pickle. On sourdough. It was fresh and tasty. And Huge!!! I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner bercause I added chips too. Yummy!!!
It was a clean place. I am paranoid about little places like that yet I watches how clean they keep it. And cold safe salads.
They have great cookies too. It was the best potato salad.
You would not expect much of this place to look at it but it has great food.

A diverse selection of both craft beer as well as domestic beer. The wine selection is super for a location of this size and one will be surprised to find an extensive selection of high-end and regular spirits as well. Kevin, the proprietor is very friendly and will learn your name upon your second or third visit if you continue to frequent the location. The store also offers a delicatessen and quick shop array of goods. I love this place and the amount of people that frequent this place during lunch everyday is a testament to the quality of its service and product.

Went for the first time this past weekend because I was craving a sandwich... I ordered the turkey avocado and it came with a side (they had like 3-4 different options [potato salad, macaroni salad, broccoli salad] and I chose macaroni salad... they had many different options for sandwiches, from more simple ones to specialty ones like the one I got... my total came out to a little over $10 and it was very filling and super yummy! The sandwich was well made and flavorful and it definitely hit the spot! I’ll definitely be visiting this place again!

I love this place and have been coming for the avocado/cheese sandwich since the 1980s. I love everything about this place. For some reason though, everytime I come here, there is someone dangerous or ranting outside, sitting at the tables in front. Today: same. Never fails. Today's guy was screaming obscenities and two SDPD cars rolled up to talk him down. I have seen this same scene 20+ times. Consider yourself warned. Love the wine selection, the dash of fresh items, and interesting stock of groceries. It's my place, and I will keep coming back. Side of potato salad! Grabbed a bottle of rose wine for tonight's dinner at home.

They make great sandwiches here. I enjoy the atmosphere. It's family owned. I also enjoy the choice of salads. It makes for a complete lunch.

Wow, the California club sandwich blew my socks off. Avocado was fresh and delicious. Potato and macaroni salads super good too. Highly recommend!

The deli sandwiches are delicious. The taste and price beats a bland sub from subway any day. They also have a great selection of beer and wine.

I love grabbing sandwiches from St. Germain and taking them to the Gliderport on a weekend afternoon picnic. Their deli is surprisingly excellent and the freshly-made sandwiches come with a side salad (Greek, fruit, macaroni, etc.) and a pickle for a great price. The ladies who make your sandwich are nice and very accomodating. I usually get the Turkey Avocado on either squaw or whole wheat bread, with either Greek or fruit salad depending on my mood, and it's been delicious every time.
You can also find almost any drink or other side in the store, with a huge selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, plus chips, crackers, small tubs of Häagen-Dazs ice cream, and other candy. The guy who owns the place is also super nice, and, as long as you're polite, his wife is fine.
Definitely go check it out--it's a great diamond in the rough!

Where to begin? I have been going here for almost 10 years and on several occasions I have thought to myself, "If there was a zombie apocalypse, this is where I would hole up." As the name suggests they sell spirits, plus wine and beer, but they also have a deli where you can custom order some of the best handmade sandwiches in San Diego. What makes this place special is the highly curated selection, everything hand-picked, from the deli meat (Dietz & W.) to the beer and wine, to the ice cream and candy, it's not a Wal-Mart so they can't stock everything, but they stock what counts, like a great mini-bar at a high-end hotel.

The food is great (and Graciela is too) and Kevin, Connie and the rest of the crew are fantastic as well. My favorite liquor store in San Diego!
