Walmart Fuel Station

Getting fuel here is very convenient for me, and last time I compared, it was about the cheapest place in town. Well lighted, clean, and cheerful. Those good cookies 3/$1 and they have Icees!

This is a great fuel station! Without fail, the staff is always, always helpful and most importantly courteous & empathetic, and they are as well. That point is important, during their peak hours, when they have to cashiers manning the registers. One of the first reviews listed for them is a complaint re accuracy of price, however, customers and well, folks in general need to realize that a phone call will get accurate info, the computer not so much (did that person not stop to remember the adage, "you can't believe "everything" you read" i mean, most especially when it comes to the internet. What any gas buying consumer should be aware of nowadays especially is that Walmarts and Murphy's fuel stations (and I would think pretty much any station in this day and age) have dynamic pricing in effect. It may throw folks for a loop, per pricing at times, but the can be increased or decreased quickly, as is needed via electronics. So if you do spot a lower price, then by all means, stop and fill up your tank if you can afford such.
Another reviewer mentioned a bigger lot. That is very true! Whereas the Walmart Super Center on the Texas side of Texarkana has a very shoe-boxed space restricted gas station ran by Murphy's, the "fuel" station as this location in Wake VIllage, Texas, is easy access, and has more space in which to maneuver around to the station as well as within the confines of the fuel station. The title of fuel station is very accurate, because not only do they have gasoline, of course, but they also have snacks, sodas, etc inside the store, plus a range of other goods (albeit in small packages ie aspirin etc), they even have a shelf filled with store produced baked goods in individual serving sizes (ie. small pumpkin pies, cherry pies, lemon pies, all of them round in little aluminium piepans just as standard sized pie would be baked in. Too, if its not sweets you desire, they do have the rudimentary nuts, meat jerkies (sic), and a variety of chips.

If ever you do have an issue, with the store, just ask.....don't rush to go log down your complaint on Facebook, just simply direct questions, and/or issues to not only the fuel station employees, but the store employees, too (they are all very well versed in the generalities and specifics of the and the fuel center (generally...) and then if you still feel there's an issue, ask to speak with the manager. Believe me, is is an upright kind of guy. He runs a smooth ship, and he's empathetic, and courteous, and his way of doing business reflected in the training he provides to his employees, especially in their demeanor and actions.

There are other Walmart Neighborhood Markets in this area.....Texarkana, and yes, all of them are on the Texas side, in Texarkana, Texas, however this store is a stellar store......as are the employees! You won't find workers more dedicated than his store and the fuel station employees, You'll see what I mean, when you conduct business with either entity. I just known that I am very, very fortunate to have this specific store and fuel station, with it's wonderful team, in my neck of the woods!

Oh, and lest I forget.......the pharmacy at this specific Walmart Neighborhood Market, is an award-winning pharmacy. I kid you not! Across the board, there was a competition for bests pharmacies at nationwide Walmart stores, and -----the pharmacy this Wake Village, Texas located Walmart Neighborhood Market literally won first place, across 50 states. Their pharmacy keeps later hours, and has a drive through, unlike a competing grocery store's pharmacy situated catticornered (sic) across 7th St (aka Hwy 67), So, even though this started out as a review of the "fuel" station....be sure and check out the store, too, if it's more than just gas and snacks you need. You find that you won't regret doing so!

Great low gas price and good talks - staff at booth was also friendly

I can pay with my credit card, or I can simply scan a code with my phone and pay with Walmart pay. This is an extremely convenient way to provide a non-contact payment experience.

Always fairly easy and quick fill up. Inside they have a small but wide variety of snacks to grab on your way out.

In and out quick lowest gas price I've found today.
