I went here a few weeks ago for some classic games, Larry was so nice and friendly and gave actual GOOD, fair prices. I will be back to visit again!

I stopped in here today after being told about its existence. I'd been searching for an older game but had no luck locally finding it. Empire not only had it in stock but it was also very reasonably priced. They also had another older game I'd been searching for as well. The individual in the store was very nice, helpful and deeply knowledgeable! I'll definitely be returning after this experience! Thanks!

My first time in here I was instantly taken aback with how beautiful and clean the store was it’s in an excellent location and Larry is super chill and always down to answer any questions you have. He is super knowledgeable and gives good recommendations. Will definitely be returning here from now on!

By comparison to the other local video game retailers, the owner of this store is possibly the most knowledgeable of them all. Prices are on par with market value and the store is easy to navigate. I'd like to see more of his inventory out on the sales floor but Larry can easily find what your looking for if its in stock or he will recommend another reputable dealer if he doesn't have what you need. Owner is closely tied into the local gaming community and can get you up to speed on upcoming events, tournaments and media releases.

Great store. Larry is an excellent person to go to for all of your gaming needs. He has a great selection of games, controllers and systems. Everything he sells is cleaned and tested but if there's any issues, he will make it right. Highly recommend you check out this place!

Always a good experience here. My first time in they had a few Nintendo 64 games I had been looking for, they all work perfectly and I’ll definitely come back again for more! Prices were fair comparable to other used game sites and stores I’ve checked out 🤘

Update: been by a few times now, had an issue with a used controller I purchased, was an easy and seamless experience getting a replacement. Customer service is on point, each time we stop by it’s been a good experience. I definitely recommend this place for your used video game needs.

Nice owner and was very knowledgeable about video games and equipment. What I liked about him was his honesty and being kind with it. While I couldn't sell everything I enjoyed the conversation we had. He has good knowledge as well if you are having a hard time selling particular items.

Stopped in for the first time the other day to checked them out and boy was I in in for a surprise. The place was super cool and very clean and organized. Prices are really fair and better then most most places I have been to. I picked myself up Grand theft auto vice city for ps2 and Mario sunshine for a great price. I highly recommend this place. Hands down the best video game store in the Capital District! The shop is nice, the staff is personable and friendly, they're very fair with both buying and selling, and they carry stuff you won't find anywhere else. If you're looking to part ways with your old games, or you wanna try out something classic (or newer!), absolutely check them out!

I have been to every retro/used video game store in the area, all of them have their merits but empire games is my favorite, it's not about the selection or location but atmosphere. Larry (the owner) is very nice and honest and gives fair prices for trade ins as well as answering all my questions, the store is always very clean, and the games are well taken care of and cleaned. There is a good selection of unique and harder to find items as well.

Absolutely love this retro video game store! The owner was very nice and super helpful. Great selection of games, amiibos, adapters, etc. They even offer a text alert if there is a game you are looking for that isn't currently in stock. Will definitely be back!

The owner is super chill and hooked us up with some great prices on some expensive boxed items. This Retro game store is clean, well organized, and has a great selection of CIB games, gba, game boy and a little bit of everything else. Highly recommended.

Purchased an Xbox 360 and Toy Story 3 as a Christmas gift for my younger daughters. This store had everything someone looking for an older system could want. Great selection in games for the consoles as well.

Went here looks for a few specific titles, unfortunately didn’t have them but I came out super happy with the titles I did get! The amount of good titles available is amazing. The customer services was great as I asked many questions and owner clearly had knowledge of his products and was happy to help. I highly recommend and will be going back soon!

Great used game store that has a variety of new and old systems and games. Guy behind the counter was friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this store.
