My new favorite hair store! Ms. Young was super helpful and accommodating in helping me find my drawstring ponytail!! She made sure I was happy with the color match, length and texture. She was so sweet and personable! I'll be back!! Check them out!!! :)

The customer service I experienced today at this beauty supply store was far in beyond pleasant. I haven't experienced this level of greatness in a veryyyyy long time. While deciding on what I wanted I noticed how the owners were engaging in conversations with the other customers in it appeared that they were familiar with these customers. I noticed that like most stores that you go in, the owners are breathing down your back.. not here. Secondly I was unsure of a product in the owner did everything in her power to educate me to assure that I made the right discussion before I purchased. After I paid they gave me several small but much needed items for free. I'll make it my business to shop here before going elsewhere no matter the price, that's how great the customer service was. . This meant alot to me.

Mrs Young the owner is so nice and helpful, her husband not so much but that's okay just ask for her. She provided thoughtful advice and knew about hair quality. I will return. Finally a place that may be Asian owned she cared about return business. Support local owned business, not the corporations.

I actually went here by mistake. They didn't have the edge booster that i wanted however.... The women in the store were very nice and helpful.... I never once felt like someone was watching my every moves. The customer service was very pleasant And they had everything else at a decent price. Will be returning.

Omg this hair store is nice. And cheap!!!!!! And she helps you out. Her name is Ms.young very wonderful lady. . and she so funny also she gave me a discount when it was my first time today!!!!! Awesome. And she will work with you. If you don't like the stuff....

I have visited several beauty supply stores over the years. They are usually Asian owned unless it's one of the large chains. This one is Asian owned and the people are owners are nice. They were oddly kind. I am so used to the Asians owners being cold and mean but not this store and not these people. The selection is large, they are willing to help, they talk to you like you are a person. It's a community store. The patrons to the store were also friendly. It reminded me of when I lived in Georgia. Stereotypes. . . . Ha! I visited several times before reviewing. I wanted to make sure this was not just coincidence. Well it's the aberration. Other stores can learn from this one.

Love, Love, Love, this beauty supply store. Very spacious, has everything you need. The Workers at Hollins Beauty are very welcoming and polite. Positive energy, very helpful and generous.The husband and wife are always offering discounts, they make sure you have a good experience when shopping with them.

I initially went to beauty 1 on Washington Blvd but they are rude, high priced and distrustful of all black people. Hollins was a completely different experience and will be my go to local hair store from here on out. The staff are great, friendly and will speak to and around you in English. Would highly recommend.

This is the best place to get hair supplies. The owners are knowledgeable about the products they sell. If they don't have something let them know and they will get it for next time. They are welcoming and patient. I don't go anywhere else.
