Peoples Department Store

People's is my favorite neighborhood store! There are a few things that can not be found in this gem most of the time. It is the place to go when your pockets are low, but you need supplies for your home. They sell clothing, housewares, medicines, cosmetics, and hair care. And I would be remiss to mention all the things you need and didn't realize you wanted. I always ♥ ❤ love to shop in this store. And now they have expanded to another store across Broadway!

Good home decor options, beauty supplies are also available. Shampoos, deodorant, soap, ect curtains, rugs bath mats bowls plastic glass. Underwear, pj, for the family

My favorite store they have everything from household to things for your animal to clothing at a great price

Well my mother used to take me there as a kid and shop I'm 56 years of age now and I shop there as well it's a great place to shop

This is my one stop shop. I love this place. Friendly and very clean. And the prices are not bad.

Love this store! It's gotten us out of a pinch countless times. The prices really are good and the staff is friendly...the bad reviews are confusing? My guess is they are probably from people visiting from flyover states who don't actually live here and have yet to realize you can't buy a whole farm for $100 anymore and that bread actually costs more than ¢10.

To my knowledge this is the only local store of its scale that can compete with Amazon prices. It's like having our own locally owned version of target/ Walmart except it's family owned and has been operating for 40+ years.

Amazing pricing with amazing people. I can try my hardest to buy in thing, but when I see the prices that are able to make me buy more, I do just that buy more. I swear if they had a public IPO, I'd so invest!

People's is true value for hard times and good times! And something about that store makes you keep coming back for more.

I find everything I need when I go in there

Great neighborhood go for all store. You can find drug store over counter items to electronics and housewares to clothes and underwear. They have housewares at reasonably low prices. This neighborhood gem has been with us since 1970's and is just getting better with time.

I never leave the store empty handed. I have occasionally gone looking for something specific and not found it.
But a quick spin through the aisles is sure to come up with something I can use.

This store is INCREDIBLE! Literally has everything you could ever need! From kitchenware, to furniture, to beauty supplies, it never let you down. The staff is extremely helpful and really cares about making your experience there a good one. I’ve grown up going to People’s, and I can say it’s a true Brooklyn staple!

They have so many items, the store is huge and filled with multiple options of everything. Good prices, clean, and fun to explore

Been open for years and still functional. I've been shopping with them as far back as the 80's when there were two branches of the store. The staff has always been very polite and friendly. I love my "People's". Their merchandise is always on point both by the visual display and the actual customer costs. No other comparison can be made to them. Even my relatives who live in Barbados rave about them and the products along with the fantastic customer service. RoseMarie and David along with the rest of the staff definitely are rockstars. Hopefully my future generations will also be able to enjoy them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this place been going here since I was a kid with my mom and aunt. Still have great prices and everything you need in household supplies!! Its nice to know somethings have stayed the same back in my old neighborhood.
