It’s a great place to find clothes especially name brand like Nike, addidas, carthart, jeans. They have an incentive program. Every time u make a purchase u get points. Once u have enough points u can use on a future purchase to 20 percent off. Or save to get more off. I usually spend over a hundred. U can also sell them your clothes.I’ve been a customer for over 10 years.

love this plato’s !!! they always have the cutest finds and the best customer service. i go there way too often. i was able to get the cutest cropped button down from american eagle, that was practically brand new, for only $12!! they also have the cutest accessories for the best prices.

i love shopping here, the staff is so kind and helpful!! it is the perfect place to sell clothes you don’t wear anymore and buy newer pieces at a great price! I have even found items from Urban Outfitters new with tags!

I had a very nice visit here. After looking at multiple reviews I finally decided to give this place a try. Nice consignment store with a large selection of clothes and great selection of clothing brands for plus sizes. The staff was very helpful and attentive when I needed assistance. Very nice designer purses and Ugg boots too. During checkout I had small conversation and questions about the selling process with the girl checking me out and she was very polite and informative.

Great store! Really fashionable clothing. Every time I go in, I always seem to find something! I never leave empty handed. The staff is so friendly and really helps with finding pieces too. They also do a great job of describing the buying process so I know what to bring! Really recommend shopping here!!

I like shopping and selling at this store and have never been treated rudely as some of these other reviews indicate. I was very surprised by those reviews, and it seems like some people tend to get personally offended when a consignment-type shop can't purchase their items. I used to work at a pawn shop and experienced the same thing. Don't let the reviews from someone they didn't buy clothes from persuade you for this type of store. Try the selling process for yourself! They have a ton of nice things in their store for sale when you shop there, so they obviously must've bought them from someone! They will also explain to you why they couldn't take a piece whether it was damaged, or out of style, or something they said they were overstocked on. But either way, them not being able to buy one of my items for one of the reasons they told me doesn't make them rude to me. That's their job??? I had to tell people that at the pawn shop too and that doesn't make me rude. As someone who worked in customer service, you can tell which reviews are legit and which reviews are just the unhappy miserable people that will never be happy anywhere. Something I learned working at the pawn shop was that if you have a problem with literally everyone you come in contact with everywhere you go... maybe you're the problem :) Just food for thought for other reviewers.

Great store, excellent customer service! I am always greeted with smiles and the employees are extremely helpful and pleasant. I have read some of the reviews on here that are negative and it's sad because people don't understand the very simple policies that the store follows on buying clothes. Don't be fooled by the negativity on some reviews, I have gotten hundreds of dollars worth of name brand clothing for cheap. Go check it out!!!

Great deals on gently used high end clothing. I've been shopping here for over a year since it came to Lynchburg, and I have never had a complaint about a product I have purchased, nor have I had to return one. The shoes are especially competitively priced, as they appear to have never been worn in some cases.

Super clean and well organized store, the buying process is very easy and straight forward as well. Their inventory is always really full of good stuff when I go in to shop and I always find more than what I am looking for. Overall a great experience shopping here!

Wow, Plato's Closet is finally in Lynchburg! Def now my favorite place to shop! Not only is the selection AMAZING, but every employee I've talked to is so sweet. I've walked out with great deals, as well as awesome trades/straight up cash! No, of course they didn't take every item I tried to sell. But they're a business, it's nothing personal. If it's over two years old/has holes/stains/just not in style anymore it won't sell well for them, so they politely explain the reasons why they have to pass. But the good news is.. they HAVE taken a lot of my clothes!! So I'm def happy and will continue spending too much money there!! :)

I love the Lynchburg Plato’s Closet!!! There is such a great selection here and the staff is super sweet and helpful! There is always a bunch of new stuff every time I come in and I really enjoy shopping here!

Absolutely loveeeddddd this location! I’ve been to plenty of other Platos Closets, but this one was by far the best! The selection was nice, store was organized , employees were great (esp. Nicole she was extremely helpful) . This is somewhere you wanna spend your money! I will definitely return here.

This Plato's Closet is so much nicer than the Christiansburg and Roanoke ones. They have a really good selection of clothes and the inside of the store is very clean and organized. The only complaint is that the inventory seemed a little low (they didn't have very many shoes.)

I was visiting the city and was recommended that I shop at Plato‘s closet Lynchburg. Upon entering the store I was welcomed by the staff with a warm welcoming and was asked if I needed some assistance. This store is so organized and the mannequins were nicely Dressed. I found some great items for myself in the women’s and men’s section. I had A great conversation while I was checking out and although I am not from here I signed up for their rewards program. I will be returning to shop when I come back to Lynchburg

This is my favorite Plato’s! I went in there looking for some vintage pieces and the employee led me to the vintage section that had so many hidden gems! Definitely check it out :)

Discount high quality pre owned clothing. There are a few caveats: if you expect goodwill prices you will be disappointed, and if you always expect to find something perfect for you, you maybe dissatisfied. The selection is small for men, but Plato's makes up for that in quality. The women's section is huge, and I don't think choice is a problem for them. However, it is worth noting that it is all dependent on what clothes are coming in, because the store does sell pre owned clothing, although it is only gently used.

Wonderful customer service. Nice, friendly environment. All the clothes are in great shape and for the most part, reasonable prices on everything. Men's section should be expanded though.
