Best place ever! You can find everything there! Johny is amazing ❤!!! I went in there looking for Arduino, he helped my son (talking to him on the phone, oversees!) get all the parts he needed to make his car.
They also have lots of fabulous records in the back.
Those people are sweet, kind and extremely helpful!

There is no other place like this on the planet. Brad, his team, and his store at Green Brook have a really special thing going on. When in the area, always enjoy a visit, and always find something incredible. Absolutely worth a (potentially lenthgy) afternoon visit, if you're looking for a tough to find electronic component, a book on electronics, a great record, or a specific capacitor/transistor/etc you might need that day. Incidentally, along the way you might find an autopilot or scientific microscope on one of the many shelves in the backroom. Go. Enjoy it. Its an incredible experience.

Unique store with lots of useful and collectable products. Just when you think you have seen it all and turn the corner, new and even more unusual, weird and more unusual stuff jumps out. A true museum.

Staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. We stop in and ask for what we need and they help us find it, along with some good conversation. The visits here have been enjoyable and quick. This store is huge so they will likely have anything you need. I see a lot of other reviews complaining about price. This is a retailer, not wholesale, so obviously it will be more expensive. If you want to buy 500 of a part that you only need 3 of, sure you can get them cheaper online per unit but do really need that many... plus you get service here.

Mark and Brad at Green Brook Electronis (A++++ helpfulness, knowledge, and pricing) are what I'm looking for when in need of something!!!! Our business was in desperate need of a capacitor for our elevator (they didn't even know how important it was) so I called them from Manville at 5 p.m. (stores hours stated they closed at 5:30 p.m) and told them where I'd be coming from. Can I make it? They said come on over. We'll I'm sure you know how traffic can be on Route 22 at rush hour... I called again at 5:25 and said I was going to arrive just after 5:30 p.m. They said (I believe it was Mark) don't worry we'll see you when you get here. They were and they were so helpful. A+++ business experience. Thank you gentlemen

What an incredible store! Everything you could possibly imagine, from electrical parts (wire, components, etc) to vintage equipment, as well as swap-meet/flea market electronic type stuff, even vinyl albums! One of the most unique places I've ever seen. The people are wonderful and helpful, and there's even a dog!

If you're looking for the common and odd components, this is the place to look. Since RS when missing, this the only store I can get things other than online. Needs better lighting and they need to keep up with stock but if you're looking for really odd things, this is the place. They are a little pricy on some things but eager to help you, including ordering items not commonly in stock. Also have a large "surplus" section for the real oddball stuff.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I don't know who I spoke to but they definitely emphasize customer service. I ordered two thermal fuses for a defroster circuit and they had exactly what I needed and were willing to mail USPS to NYC. Reasonable prices and shipping options. Thanks for the help!!!

If I could give a thousand stars I would!! Was my first time there. The people are extremely knowledgeable. I had an electrical problem that no one could help me with. One particular store sent us to them. It was up and running within 5 minutes!!!! Very nice people!!! Highly recommended. These men have wisdom!!!!😁😁

Called these guys with an oddball request for a strange old capacitor. They helped me identify the part from pictures of my board and they had what I needed in stock!! These guys were very helpful! Will recommend.

The staff there is very friendly and knowledgeable. I needed a thermal fuse that was rare to find, and they had it. They have the largest variety of parts and electronic equipment I ever seen. They even have classic and antique equipment dating all the way back to the turn of the century. And even a classic Harley, yes I said Harley motor bike. Literally millions of parts. I'm glad they moved to North Plainfield R22 West right after Astro Rents.

Very helpful people and they have every electronic component you can imagine. This was my first trip there and they let me wonder the store without harassing me, I got a warm smile and a head nod when I walked in and I browsed for about 10 minutes before I walked up to the counter and they asked what they could help me with. Will absolutely return in the future.

If you need an electronic part or advice from very knowledge folks, this is the place to go!

A little overpriced on some things, but def a place worthy of your time and money.

Sure, some of the clerks can be rough, but when you deal with the owner you're guaranteed to get what you want, and he'll give you a reasonable deal if you're a regular. Not only that, but they have the know-how to help you with your projects, unlike Derp-Shack.

Green Brook is a fantastic store with a knowledgeable staff, great customer service, and a genuine fun place to be. You will quickly get sucked into the vortex of cool findings!

Mark, Brad, & the guys are the best! I've been using them for parts & electronic repairs for about ten years now and never once been disappointed.

Took in a 5yr old subwoofer circuit board in to get a simple diode.
I was greeted by a very warm/friendly elderly gentleman who proceeded to help me. You can tell he was genuinely interested in electronics and helping me. As I had some questions, he handed it off to one of the Techs --- Mike --- Mike was also very friendly and extremely knowledgeable in his skill going by his explanations he was giving me.
Not only did he confirm the diode was bad but he noticed a surface mount resistor had gone bad too... which he showed me using a magnifying glass. He was very noticeable. By this time, i was there approx 1/2 hr at which time I said to him, can you please fix this for me right away...
He started to work on the board...tested and fixed it (the Power LED was on again)
I was expecting this to cost me around $50 with parts. When i received the bill,,,,i was PLEASANTLY surprised! $29!!! for an hour's work!!!!
where you gonna find that!!!! took home my subwoofer, plugged it in...and bamn ... it works like new!!!!!
