K-Pop of Chinatown

Huge selection of BTS albums including sold out, hard to find albums. Albums are a bit pricey, but the customer service was great! The owner of the store was so helpful and even threw in several pages of freebie stickers for my kids. She also helped me get the table that Jimin sat at when he visited in 2022 over at Daebak Korean BBQ. I will visit again!

If you like K-pop than this is your store. Huge selection of cd’s , t-Shirts , hats etc… My daughter is a huge twice fan … they had all their releases… it was hard for her to pick just 2. Also, tons of BTS merch & music too.
Definitely one of the best stocked K-pop stores around. It’s right in the middle of Chicago’s Chinatown.

Went to do some shopping in Chinatown and the stores were so cute and well priced. I loved the souvenir shops. All the people I met were extremely kind and helpful. This is my third time back and I'll definitely be back.

Has a lot of choices for your favorite artist. Also has clothes. Very nice and quite reasonable pricing.

Very cool store to stop by if you are a kpop fan, I bought some little foam cutouts of GOT7 and they held up throughout the years

Nice ladies at the register, lots of albums to choose from. Prices were reasonable for the girl groups and most boy groups, but the seasons greetings and lightsticks were scalper prices ($200 for season's greetings packages, $120 for lightsticks, $50 for an unofficial calendar, etc). Had lots in stock because of the pricing so if you're really trying to find a specific album version, they will probably have it but be prepared to pay a little more than you'd like (compared to Target and most online shops that is)

I got a Monsta X keychain, Monsta X posters, double sided suga keychain, Suga T-shirt, and a Chanyeol T-shirt. All of that came out to $54.04 😄. They always have sales and you can get alot without breaking the bank 😌.

My daughter loved this store! I read some of the other reviews about this store before going but I thought the employee was very nice and the prices for most all of the stuff is actually very reasonable. Will be back again!

there was an insane amount of merchandise at this store! so many stickers, pins, keychains, postcards, banners, posters, tshirts, LOTS OF ALBUMS, and more of several groups! I went looking for Day6 merchandise, and I was surprised to find so much. There are several kinds of merch for several groups, many new groups and more unknown groups too. I spent a very long time there, there’s so much to look at!! You will not be disappointed when going here. I’m very happy with my experience.( I spent so much money on day6 merch!) It’s not TOO expensive… I didn’t take a look at the album prices, but the rest was alright.
I will be returning!

When I was looking through the reviews, I had seen some people saying the lady was rude to them. To me, she was actually really nice and let me keep my drink with me and we never had a problem. The store in its own is awesome and they have a lot of posters and albums, etc. The only thing I would have to say is some of the prices are a little high depending on what you're willing to spend and how much you think is good or too much. I definitely come here often and would recommend it.

When I came here the first time I enjoyed it! As the other reviews say, it can be a bit pricey and you also have to leave your bag in the bag check. Which I don't mind at all. The employees were nice too! I am planning on coming back and possibly buying more things soon

Second Trip: I enjoyed it and i got some more things, people say they had bad experiences with the employees but it depends on the employee you get

Great selection. Yeah things are marked up a bit higher than online but honestly? By and large still much cheaper than getting it shipped from Korea so still a delight.

Incredible store with an incredible selection. It was super busy when I was there, so it was a bit hectic, but you could spend a good chunk of time in there looking through all the albums they have to offer. They have a good mix of old and new offerings. Prices for some things can be a bit steep, but that's the price you pay to not have to deal with international shipping online. They also have a lot of shirts, some light sticks, posters, misc things if that's what you're looking for. If you're a Kpop fan, definitely check this place out!

First of all, the owner actually is nice if you aren't an idiot and you are respectful. And second of all, the stock is incredible! The prices are expensive but at the same time people need to realize that the process of getting the items is hard and pricey. Plus the owner needs a profit to run the store and support herself. You are supporting a small business when you make a purchase as well as the artist, etc.

Love this place. Always makes me happy just browsing around seeing all the beautiful K-POP faces. They take there shiz real serious tho so don’t take photos and be ready to leave big bags at the door!

Went for the first time and based on most of the reviews that I had read I was a bit scared. Although they did not greet me when I entered the store, they were very nice when I looked around and made a purchase. The majority is BTS merchandise, but I did not struggle to find merchandise for other groups I like (especially albums).

I can only speak of the experience back in 2012. The lady used to be the only one working there and it was always a good experience. I even took a photo with her upon my last day being in Chicago.

I'm surprised that looking them up they have a lot of negative reviews. Times were simpler then as K-pop was just in a slow rise in the US and there wasn't much K-pop stores around.

Hoping to be back and see how it's grown. They have a variety of unofficial merch and albums that isn't common to see from usual Kpop stores. I remember getting an album from Kim Tae Woo from here back then.
