New World Food Mart

Haven't lived here long so veryyyyy excited to find this lovely place!! I bought 2 kinds of kim chi and they had spicy fish cake!! Also bought kim bop! I grew up on Korean food and they have all you need to prepare it or just eat it including a small cafe in the back!! Also very friendly and nice so those hater reviews can kick rocks! Asians are naturally more calm in demeanor it don't mean nothing bad! Some folks just like to complain 🙄 Anywho will definitely be back!!

I'm a rice snob; after I was fortunate enough to visit Japan, no rice I've ever been able to find in America can compare. This is the only place in town I've been able to find imported Japanese rice, and at a fairly reasonable $40 price point for 5kg ($3.63/lb isn't bad when you consider how expensive intercontinental shipping is). Make sure you look for the "Tsuyahime" bag. Store is well-organized and staff are friendly; really can't ask for better!

I absolutely love shouting out New World Food Mart. It’s literally the best Korean restaurant in Jax and it’s tucked inside of a Korean grocery store. It’s cash only and the menu is super limited but it does have the staples for your heart’s content. Most menu items are $10. This is hands down the best value in Jax for kfood. This same meal at the Korean restaurant next door is double the price. I ordered the soondooboo jjigae which had a nice amount of seafood, egg and silken tofu. It’s the perfect dish for the rainy weather we’ve had recently. Skip Gangnam, skip Kim’s, skip Samwon and all of the others. If you aren’t making your own, and are craving Kfood, New World Market is the best you’re going to get in Jax period.

True hidden gem! Tucked in the back of this great Asian market off Beach Blvd is this sweet lady making your favorite Korean dishes. I can’t wait to return and count the days every time we come! This place has a hidden garden in the back and uses fresh produce to create works of art that taste amazing. Flavor profile is off the chart! I love to watch her work her magic and the best part, it’s reasonably priced. She only accepts cash and you can shop for other culinary delights while you are they. We just can’t get enough! Market has a great selection and everyone there is so nice. Expand your palette and show this place some love! Local family owned and operated.

Bigger Asian supermarket- mostly Korean. They also have a Korean restaurant inside with great dishes in the $10-$14 range - simple but delicious! Restaurant closes at 6pm.

Hands down the best Asian market I've been to in jacksonville! There are a lot of different options. I'll never buy another Ramen pack ever again. This place has Udon noodle packs that can come so close to what you get in restaurants. Fresh vegetables like bok choy and others to add to your many meals you can create from this store. Highly recommend checking it out!

Dude this place rocks! 100% go here get your house made Kimchi (which is amazing) and then get all of the other ingredients you need. Dude, I was here the other day I wanted to bust out some Kimchi Jjigae to impress myself and realized that I needed a rice maker, bro! They got it! I got myself a sweet little cuckoo rice maker. Love shopping here even if it takes me 30min to drive here. So worth it! Everyone there is super helpful as well.

One of the better Asian markets in Jacksonville with a lot of Korean and Japanese products. Definitely worth checking out the homemade kimchi and other items available, as well as a good place to get supplies to make sushi.

This will surely delight. The prices are excellent. The Kim Chi selection is impressive, I got the Bok Choy and almost grabbed the cucumber assortment. The taste is fantastic. The store contains modern staples for preparation of Asian food. Limited assortment of vegetables but great household kitchen supplies. Such a mixed variety of offerrings from a great selection of sliced meats, to shoes to outdoor plants. The fresh sushi was a treat to see here.

Wow never thought I would leave a review for an Asian market but 5/5 experience and service. We were looking to purchase some last minute Asian food items for the holidays this Christmas and they were open !! The cashier was very nice and gave some chocolate pies on the house ☺

This is a great little market. Wide variety of products, primarily Korean. There is a small restaurant inside too and lots of cooking tools/utensils. Prices seemed a little high but idk where you can find it elsewhere. Try it out!

One of the best Asian markets in Jacksonville in my opinion as I haven't found another with as many options. Lots of ramen options here as well as other Asian foods and kitchen equipment.

Amazingly broad selection. Fair pricing. Clean. Super nice staff. They have a kitchen/restaurant area with Korean food made to order. My 91 year old Korean mom said it’s the best selection that she’s ever seen. It’s our go to Asian grocer now.

I’ve been shopping here for years, the owner (usually at the register) is extremely friendly and will go out of his way to help you plan for your meal- give suggestions, advice, etc. great knowledge of Korean, Japanese, and authentic Chinese cuisine. If you haven’t already, get a meal from the nice Korean lady at the counter. Best Korean food since ive been in korea.

Me and my girlfriend love this place so much! Love the owner and food and things to buy. Pricing is the best for what kind of store it is! Everyone is helpful and kind!

Soooo many delicious food options. They have a little of everything. This is somewhere that you can enjoy wondering the aisles looking at all the goodies.

Absolutely love coming here! They have a lot of items you can't find at a normal grocery store like glutinous rice flour, sake and red bean paste. The cashier is always very nice and we always find something new to try. Absolutely love it.
