The customer service was really good! Everyone was really sweet and helpful. Their clothes selection is actually really good and there is definite variety. It is a shame that so many customers come in that are rude to the workers that I have seen. Definitely a must go (at least to this location)!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS LOCATION!!!
I always come here to get my athletic wear! (Lulu, Nike, etc.) they also have a really nice variety of shoes and clothes! I just want to highlight two employees that had above and beyond customer service Elodie and Ava <3 they were really nice and helped me find things that matched my style. I see some other reviews about racism but as a young black woman myself, I’ve come here for years and NEVER experienced such a thing! Trust me this is a go to location!

Went into this Plato’s the other day to buy a few products, the staff were very helpful and I had a happy day there

I ABSOLUTELY ❤'d this particular, "PLATO'S CLOSET''!! The staff were SO nice, helpful & I actually got almost $30 for 2 items!! Wow, the one in LAUREL one OFFERED me $8.00 for brand-new, leather UGGS sandals in the box, NEVER worn ... just tried on. I said, "No that's okay!!" 🙄🙄 I ended up WEARING them 2xs but it was better than accepting "crackhead $" for high end, brand new, black leather UGGS sandals, ya know? My ONLY problem was ... AS PER USUAL, "second-hand" clothing, "thrift''/"already used"*(for who knows HOW long??), was a little on the "pricey end". I understand IF the ORIGINAL store tags are STILL on it albeit, for all others, especially during a severe episode of INFLATION in this country, they could DEFINITELY create a "CLEARANCE SECTION" & (OR), DROP the prices of "untagged items" by SEVERAL $'s + per item. REAL TALK, SORRY, NOT SORRY ... YOU FEEL ME?!

Not really a review but more of a clarification on the most recent review. I was there and this is not what happened. I overheard as well what was said and the staff explained to the customer in question that the plus sized items that were brought in did not cater to the STYLE that they typically purchase. She said nothing about not catering towards plus sizes as an entirety. I've been coming here for a while now and have never experienced such behavior and I genuinely feel bad for the staff and the business that this type of narrative is being shared.

I have visited this Platos closet a few times and I absolutely enjoy my experience each time!

Wonder place to go to sell your clothes. I went in there and had brought in three boxes of clothes and they took about half of it. I understood about the fall and winter clothes and them having a huge inventory of it. Because we’re in fall and winter, makes sense. The two young ladies who went through my buy and then entered it into the system were super friendly and very informative about all my items. Definitely going to come back here again.

I had a very great experience at this location !
The attendant was very kindhearted, empathetic, and cordial and greeted not only myself but strived to welcome everyone entering the establishment.
She went above and beyond when it came to explaining the selling process and was very efficient in her work.
The staff in the store was very friendly.
Items on the racks were in fantastic condition for great prices and stylish as well which in return lets you know the staff is extremely knowledgeable and unbiased.
An issue i did have however was that i received a low offer for prestige pieces of clothing but there is an advantage to being able to recycle items quickly and make profit back as well for what you would otherwise donate so i can’t complain.
The store was very clean, neat, and organized more so then any uptown or plato’s i’ve visited in Maryland.
They are also always very quick to answer a call and are attentive to any questions or concerns you may have and happily strive to solve them.
The store hours are long which allows you to shop with ease.
Overall a great experience i left the store content.
Would definitely refer anyone to this location 🫶🏻

First visit. Nice staff, good purses to browse and buy, slightly high prices for my purposes but I still bought a half dozen or so bags! Recommended.

I sold items today at both Uptown and Plato's. First off, I'd like to say that I preferred the vibe at Plato's more than at Uptown. The staff like each other and have fun at work together, which IMO makes for a better customer experience.

Plato's buys more of what's in style right now instead of sticking to high-end brand items only--which I appreciate. But as a result, you might not get as much as you might expect if they buy one of your brand name items. This Plato's location has an awesome selection, so I recommend checking them out if you want to have an eclectic choice when shopping for clothes and accessories.

AMAZING customer service! I love the clothes and the prices. WOOO!!

Lots of great casual wear like sneakers, sweats, jeans. Everything is in good condition and fairly well organized so you can find your size, and they have fitting rooms. Prices are good if buying for your own use, and they have a rewards program that could knock a few bucks off a purchase.

The Plato’s closest in Towson is wonderful.

I never been to any store as much as Plato’s. My drip has become immaculate ever since I first started shipping here and all of the employees are very kind, funny, and understanding. Oh, did I also mention that everything in the store is much cheaper than retail too? Coming to Plato’s is a win win situation! <3

I shopped a little while my girlfriend was selling some of her clothes. I found 10 name brand items at bargain prices (some still with tags on!). She also got $50 for clothes she would have otherwise donated! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this location!

This is my favorite place in the entire world. They keep my wardrobe loaded with designer brands for a low price. A lot of things I get from here still have the tags on them. I love it here!

The ladies here are super sweet!! I sold a few items and purchased some too. This store is the most organized thrift/second hand store I’ve ever visited. I was impressed! Will definitely visit again.

I Absolutely love this store!!I live 25 minutes away an always make it my business to visit here the Staff is Amazing an always willing to help out no matter what your needing. The selection they have is awesome for all sizes men an woman! I always walk out a satisfied costumer.
