Myrtle Beach Games

Hands-down, this is the very best gaming shop I have ever visited, and I have been to quite a few over the past four decades. There is an enormous sitting area for open gaming or that I imagine is also used for various gaming or card game tournaments. The staff and clientele were very friendly (each time that we stopped there because my son wanted to go back twice). The selection was extremely impressive. They even allowed customers to "Roll the Dice" to see what sort of discount they received on their purchases (which I thought would have been reserved for "members" or something, but nope it was open to everyone, including Myrtle Beach tourists such as ourselves. Highly recommended!

Organized! Clean! Well-lit! Comfortable! These shouldn’t be hard to find but some game stores just can’t manage it - unlike Myrtle Beach Games. This store is perfectly organized and has a comfortable and clean atmosphere. Everything - and I mean everything - is alphabetized; no guessing where games might be, they’re right on the shelf where they should be. Speaking of games, what a selection! Tons of classic games with a huge selection of newer releases make it a pleasure to surf the aisles. Looking for minis? There’s like 100 square feet of minis just begging for you to pick them up! Paint too! A generous gaming space and polite customer service wrap this up as a fantastic place to stop and game. The employee on duty was super nice and even asked what kinds of games my wife and I like, and suggested a top notch game right off the bat. Truly a gem among game stores; do not miss this shop!!

Wow what a place! Visiting from Pittsburgh for the week so stopped by on a nerd side quest and I was not disappointed. Huge selection of minis, magic cards, paints - you name it they have it. Next time I’m in town I’m making sure to bring my Modern & Commander decks. Super cool staff, super cool store.

Stopped by here on a vacation during Xmas. Owner was super friendly and chatted it up with him for a bit. No rush or pressure while my son looked through stuff. Very nice selection of stuff and got to role dice for a discount. Very happy with our purchases and if we lived down here we’d definitely be regulars.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, super helpful, not pushy at all. They have a great area to sit and play games although we didn't stay because my kids were complaining about hunger.

We stopped here while on vacation. This place is HUGE and has an awesome assortment. They also host tournaments and had a huge table set up. We ended up buying two games that we loved. Wish we had one by us in NJ there's nothing like this place up here. 10/10 would recommend stopping in!

A large selection of games, lots going on. We always hit this place when in town. The dice chest is a particularly nice touch.

Always find good stuff here when we are in town. Everyone has always been personable and knowledgeable and we buy a game that we have to figure out how to get home in our luggage!!!!!

I've been in this store twice now and both times rhe staff have been very nice an super helpful. They have a great selection of singles for MTG. I will be back each and every vacation.

This place is amazing! My daughter and I came there from out of town on vacation looking for some Pokemon stuff and they had everything. Chris and the staff were so kind and knowledgeable! Really cool place for young kids (and adults) to learn and have fun. Highly recommend!

i’m not usually a big review person and i am a bit late in writing this but i had such a great experience here that i felt like i had to leave a review so other people will be more incline to enjoy this store. i was there on august 1st, 2023 to tag along to watch my cousin compete in a smash bros tournament. i had been nervous and rather miserable my whole trip but as soon as i walked in and saw the store and their selection, i no longer cared about my cousin’s tournament or anything else; i was in my own little world. they have an amazing selection of games that i probably never would have known about otherwise as well as plenty of expansions and figures and all sorts of nerdy stuff. josh helped me out and answered all of my silly questions and gave me recommendations. i felt bad bothering him but he didn’t seem annoyed at all, just eager to help. the community they’ve built also touched my heart. i was nervous because i’ve heard of game stores not always being the most welcoming to outsiders, especially women/fem presenting people, but i talked to several regulars and they were all so nice and willing to teach me about the games they were playing and include me in their jokes and conversation. nobody seemed to care that i was a tourist or that i was visibly stimming. i felt at home and welcomed there and made me wish i lived nearby so i could be a part of the fun. so it just solidified that this is somewhere i need to go every time in myrtle. thank you to josh and all of the regulars and everybody who helped foster such an amazing store and environment — your kindness and its effect on me can’t be overstated.

Wow Myrtle Beach Games.. you made us feel right at home. This store is more than your average gaming store. If you like D&D Magic, Pokémon, etc.. card games, board games and all the accessories they have what you need. The most welcoming atmosphere. I haven't been to any events they have held but i am certain they are super funtastic. I would recommend. Please visit them if you are in the area.

Went there during our family vacation and it was a wonderful experience! The space is huge with great ac and even better customer service. We originally went looking for the new game night box set and although they unfortunately didn't have it, they gave us an amazing deal for the booster box!

Tons of games. The vibe was super cool. The people working there are fun and funny. Perfect store.

My jaw hit the floor when I saw the miniature selection! Helpful and friendly sales staff. Wish I lived closer, would love to play a D&D game there.

Fantastic store! Staff was engaging, knowledgeable and funny. Did not feel any pressure to buy product and was warmly welcomed as a new customer. Would highly recommend anyone in the area with a tabletop hobby to visit.

This is Myrtle Beach's premier FLGS, with a large selection of extremely popular board games, roleplaying supplies, and card games, with a large area for in-store gaming. They do weekly events and the staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Start your beach week off by picking up a new game from their selection, or, if you are a local, get into some Dungeons & Dragons in a bright and friendly environment.

Good atmosphere, great people, kid friendly, and with something for everyone. If you love board games, role playing, trading card games, pops, and just anything generally nerdy. Anthony and co have been a part of and supporting our community for a long time. Tourists feel free to venture in, especially to grab a board game in case of the rainy day blues on your trip.

Great sore. Terrific selection of games, minis, paints. Good tables and chairs for play. Lots of parking. Cold A/C. Highly recommend.
