Well stocked. Good variety of soda, beer, snacks, and sandwiches. Great for Grab and Go. Employees are always nice and helpful. Prices are better than most similar stores in the immediate area. Convenient location.

Love the place people are nice and it's extremely close to my house. Although I do have a stupid question...do you guys have sour cream lol. The staff are sweet and extremely respectful. Can't say that about some of the snobby locals that go there but over all great place

A very friendly corner store! It's open twenty four hours day, seven days a week! All the employees are friendly, easy to talk to(even if they don't look like it). Has a great selection of locally craft beers! I been picking up things of various types for about a few years now!

I read these reviews and i do need to reply. The first thing is Jr. Market is a friendly local store. Everyone knows everybody and its always a joy. Best BBQ in the area and always smiling faces. If you need a cold drink, hot cup of coffee or a great meal, Jr. Market is the place to go.

My FAVORITE Jr. Market! The people working are always so lovely. They let me have a penny when I
need one. It's so close to home and they're one of the few stores that I know will always have my favorite Peace Teas.

The staff is always friendly and they have the best chicken bbq sandwiches.

I really like the sausage patties they use on their breakfast burritos! Plus, I also really like their Barbeque Pork Sandwiches with Coleslaw a lot. Cool Place & super nice people.

Don't work here. They absolutely don't look out for the wellbeing of the employee. They have you shoveling ice everyday just for the owner to make off with 50+ bags of ice to go on fishing trips. For the people that like him I have absolutely no idea why you stick up for this guy, he is thee worst I've ever dealt with in convenient stores or jobs in general

I absolutely love jr market. I have been coming here for actually 20 years now. I'm only 24 but I am local to Virginia beach and was born and raised in the shadowlawn neighborhood. Never in my entire life have I been spoken to so rudely by a store clerk. I simply did not bring my ID. Virginia law states that if I'm under the age of 27 and don't have an ID I still need to be carded no matter what... I understand that. All that needed to be said was that. I simply was stating that I had been coming to the store for 15+ years and buying tobacco and alcohol products here for several years now and I'd think by now someone would know me well enough. The woman got completely offended, took everything I said the wrong way, and went on with some tangent about how I was harassing her... I honestly am hurt by this experience, she really made me feel unwelcome in a store I have grown so fond of through my nostalgic childhood years up to date.... I might not come back here again...

I wish there were an option for no stars, because not only the owner, but the employees are the rudest people ever.. Worst Jr. Market EVER!! Employees need a few lessons in customer service, as well as the managerial staff. Besides the price gouging, and the lack of cleanliness inside and out, the employees make this place terrible, the one named Melody, especially. She cussed me out, after I told her she needed to find a new job because of her lack in customer service skills. She runs to her boss on her day off and as I pull up, tells her I was cussing her out and not the other way around like it actually happened. her coworker had witnessed how rude she was the last time it had happened, but only other customers had seen the first few times this lady copped an attitude with me. I wish the guy that had witnessed the worst night when this employee had first cussed me out, had been there in my defense. That night as we walked outside, the other customer that apparently has had issues with the same employee, expressed his disbelief stating, "She always has an attitude, but she really has an issue with you!" I don't know if it's because I have dreads and date a black guy and she's racist, or what her problem is, but she needs a new line of work. This store should be shut down it's that bad.
