A remarkable store, packed with quality supplies. Everyone there is happy to help and offer advice, or to just let you wander around and see what's there. I've never felt like anyone was trying to push supplies. In fact, I have been gently guided away from an expensive product to something less costly because it was more appropriate for what I was planning to do.
Check with them on the art class schedule. I signed up for a watercolor class, and it's making all the difference between something that I would have struggled with on my own, and developing some skills that I'm proud of.

Everything you need and a lovely experience to boot! Owned by a mother son team that are full of knowledge and happy to help, explain or demo items. It’s a candy store for creativity and the prices are great. Grab some items tax free before you head back to WA.

This is a fantastic art store and rivals any big city store. They have an amazing array of supplies and some brands I’ve not been able to find anywhere else. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well. I can’t wait to go back.

This place is always worth a stop if you're in Astoria. They have a large selection of products, so you can find pretty much anything that you might be looking for.

So glad I stopped there. I told them what I was looking for and received a personalized lesson on what I would need. Never pushy and let me pick what was best for me.

We stopped in this past Tuesday on our way out of town after spotting it the evening before. So happy we did! The owner and his partner were very friendly and fun to chat with. Found not only what I was looking for and then some, and their prices are competitive with Blick. We'll be back in Astoria, and next time, I want to see the loft too!

Would I go back here if I lived here? Absolutely. It’s ran by a mom and son and they are very friendly. They have a large selection to offer as well as classes (which if we were locals I would def be attending).

My daughter and I spent 2 weeks on the WA and OR coast last month and discovered Dots and Doodles in Astoria, OR. New owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable! So friendly we took a long drive around this quaint town and did more shopping! This store is full of everything art related you can imagine! As a matter of fact, we went back to shop some more the next morning! If it weren't a 10 hour drive for us to go back home to ID, we'd get all our art supplies from them from now on!
