The food was excellent. And the customer service was superb. Can't wait to go back. I had Suya, Jollof rice and chicken in red sauce. I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend

1- I have been wanting and looking to try this type of cuisine for YEARS- I finally got the chance and I LOVED IT!! Please excuse me if I seem extra but I’m so happy
2- I am very grateful to who took my order because I arrived right after the kitchen closed and she was able to get together some of the egusi soup with beef and fufu for me. It was delicious and very filling and I can’t wait to go back and try more food, maybe something spicier??
The market was cool to browse while I waited for the food to come out. Everyone there seemed super nice and i want to thank them for the opportunity 😊😊 and I hope to try more and learn.

Excellent customer service!! Variety of food stuff. The environment is pleasant. The whole family is warm and welcoming. I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!! I’m so glad I found this place!! Thank you for making me the pounded yam and okra soup. I enjoyed it😋 and the Palm wine was everything I thought it would be😃 Though, it should be called Palm juice as it does not contain alcohol. Thanks again and may The Most High prosper you and continue to bless your sweet family 🙏🏾

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about trying the restaurant food at 1st, but I purchased an array of different dishes to get a true consensus. The best Nigerian dishes ever from a restaurant in the Houston area as I am use to eating my in-laws food. EVERYTHING was A-1 (food and customer service) and fresh from the egusi, jolof, meat pie and moi-moi! So good they are now hired to cater an event for me!! This restaurant is a MUST especially if you’re near The Woodlands or surrounding areas.

My first visit to the store was quite pleasant! I am new to African food so I relied on a suggestion from the person taking my order. Everything was amazing! If you have not tried their food, you should definitely add it to your to-do list. The store is also a market, so look around and pick up some things to try while you wait for your food.

Oh my gosh, where do I start? The place is so neat and clean! There’s a sitting area in the back of the market for customers to enjoy their meals. I love that the location is 10 minutes from my house. I dread the drive all the way to the southwest side of town just to get my craving satisfied. OLATEE was great, I ordered the egusi soup and moi moi. It was so delicious that I couldn’t save any for later. Every bite was so satisfying. It beats any egusi that I have ever tried HONESTLY and I’ve tried MANY places. I will most definitely be returning. Thank you guys so much!

Amazing customer service! Our son had an assignment for geography class at school to bring in a dish native to the West African area. The owner went above and beyond to help us and explain preparation to us- thank you Mr. Ola for your kindness, we look forward to seeing you soon. God bless😊

Olatee’s food is the best I have yet tried since I have been in the states. You can tell she is really passionate about what she does and it reflects in the services rendered. Every spoon makes me want to sing praises to the lord. It reminds me of my grandma’s delicacy . And one has to be pretty special and talented to meet up to that standard. Olatee’s food is worth living for. I’m totally committed as a customer. She’s got my heart and money for real. Don’t hesitate to try her Amala, eforiro, designer stew and custom Delicacies can be made to ur taste aswell. They are pretty flexible and very accommodating. What r u waiting for? Go order yours now.

Finally a Nigerian restaurant and grocery close to me. They had abacha, ugba, and all the ingredients I was looking for so I can cook my traditional meals. Their cooked dishes are delicious too especially the meat pie. I'll definitely be back soon

I got the Egusi and the Ogbono. Both were delicious. Also picked up some beautiful fish and oxtails.

So glad there is great African food in Spring. I'm a fan.

Hello Olatee African Mart: I was in a few minutes ago and bought lunch “Chicken, Joloff Rice and Plantains” let me say it’s excellent! I did my dna testing so I wanted to sample foods from Nigeria since according to my dna I have 42% lineage. Thanks for making my first experience with Nigerian food such a delightful one! The food is great, hot and very tasty! Thanks to the young man at the counter and the ladies preparing the food! I will be back for more groceries and hot lunch in the future
