Babylon Market

Stopped by yesterday to check it out. Loved it! I got a salad and a sandwich and the portions were generous and the food tasted amazing. In addition to the deli section you can get all sorts of products from the Middle East and Europe. I’m definitely going back and bringing friends. Oh yea, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Halal food for muslims on very reasonable price

They have the best Arabic tea and the bread are so good!

Not gonna lie - great food, great selection, and great people! Give yourself at least 30 minutes to browse the store, as there are so many imported specialty items of high-quality anything less than a 30-minute excursion is a crime against humanity. I am from the Ann Arbor/Dearborn/Metro Detroit area originally (Dearborn is home to the largest Muslim population, per capita, in the United States), and this is a grocery I would expect to see there. Babylon Market is truly exceptional!

The only - and I mean ONLY - particular I don't like about Babylon Market is they import & stock goods from Israel. Given the current apartheid conditions Israel enforces over the West Bank & Gaza, I don't believe anyone should do business with the Israeli regime or Israeli businesses, especially those based in the occupied territories. But the owners & staff of Babylon should be able to tell where products are imported from if the packaging is unclear.

Frequent this business! You will leave impressed. Oh, and they have a takeout restaurant in the back of the store. Don't miss it! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Amazing place and very good collection of diverse food items. It's a Middle Eastern shop where you can find various spices and condiments. This is a halal shop too. You can buy chicken and beef from this place. It also has a restaurant. You can either eat here or take away food to your home. They also give a $10 coupon for the restaurant if you spend $100.

They mace most of the middle eastern ingredients you’ll need. I was able to find the tea ingredients, spices, and canned items I needed for all my cooking needs. The staff is friendly, the store is very well stocked and has a small area to order food. Overall great experience

Such a great variety and so much you dont see at a place like Walmart.Don't think I'd ever have tried Bulgur without them but I think eating rice will forever be a disappointment since.

I'm very inexperienced in cooking middle eastern foods. I had an idea of what I was looking for for my recipe but have no idea what brands are best, or what can be used as an alternative. The staff and fellow customers were super helpful and made the experience awesome. And I got home and made some amazing food as a result. Awesome awesome!

Amazing local business! They have a grocery store inside and a small restaurant inside. Buy some treats!

I love shopping for stuff here that i miss from my home country.

Services are friendly, food really great, me and my husband keep coming back and forth. Lamb shank is our favorite menu, but others also awesome, we've been trying every time we come. And for halal butcher and groceries also nice, no doubt, is a great store, we've found a lot of things there.

An inevitable Arabic food store, small but very well stocked. A nice selection of good quality products. The prices are reasonable.

Called here to inquire about a hard to locate spice. They very pleasantly went to see if they had it. They did. I went and got it, they had it set by the cashier. Found a wonderful place to have lunch, and very friendly service. The market was small but seemed to have a little of everything. The counter in the back was where you could order everything from stuffed grape leaves to kebab plates. Will be going back.

There's a great variety of ethnic foods here and I think it's really neat. If you go in the back they can prepare hot food and what I had there was very tasty. My friend goes there often and says everything on the menu is very tasty😉 service was courteous and fast. The food was delicious

Everyone is so nice here and I love all the different foods to try! Their own falafel mix is out of this world. Got food in the back. The butcher is friendly and helpful, as well. I suggest buying and having your lamb ground in house. Delicious.

First time here, just happened to pass by. Extremely friendly and helpful. Great selection of products. I purchased tea, spices and some wonderful Turkish coffee of which I just had a cup. I will be back to shop and to try their to-go menu items.
