I love hardware stores and this one is always good for what I need. I've shopped here for years. I have zero complaints. They're great.

I brought in a kitchen drawer in pieces. I spoke to Monte at the 23rd location. He has fixed and directed me in the right direction many times. I asked if he could some how put it back together. He not only put it back together it looks brand new. You would never get this kind of personalized service at a big box store. Absolutely incredible job Monte!

Got 3 things for $10 each,27 gln. heavy-duty storage tote, a smart home control for an outlet, and a very three piece flashlight set.

BBQ area was Phenomenal !!!! & Now They Have Carhart Too !!!

We go here to get a fresh balsam Christmas tree and wreath every year as they are the only place I'm aware of that sells these (the wreath is Frasir, but that's OK). Lawrence is about an hour drive for us, but it's worth the trip for the smells that fill our living room every year! If we lived closer, I'd shop this hardware store for all my needs in that department.

This little gem of a hardware store is the place to go for all your home needs. Attentive and very helpful service! Unlike other hardware stores this gem has clerks approach YOU to ask if you're finding everything. Tim was the clerk who helped me and I'm unable to think of another hardware clerk so knowledgeable and helpful!

Westlake Ace Hardware Store is the nostalgic hardware store you remember visiting as a kid. Less hustle than a Home Depot and a more specific product selection than a Menard's, you'll easily find what you need. Plus, like the commercial says, the folks there really are very knowledgeable and helpful.

*Local Tip* This Ace Hardware Store actually has a Hallmark store inside of it. Surprisingly, it seemed to be a relatively fully stocked one, with not only cards but stationary and gifts as well (Disney, graduation, plush animals, etc.). They appear to have a section for Hallmark ornaments as well. As close as you're going to get to a Hallmark store in Lawrence.

Excellent home town feel. Friendly faces always willing to help you find what you need. Anytime I need a plumbing part I go to. Paint is outstanding. I always love the middle section seasonal I believe. Darn rifle plunger is awesome. From specialty screws and bolts, glass cut, screens replaced to lighting and landscape. They have what your looking for. If they don't they can point you in the right direction. Knowledgeable group of folks. I appreciate the time I save and the bargains they have. Great place! Although we had a warranty replacement of a tool that was categorically handled incorrectly, it was handled, so I am not complaining about this store. They did what needed to be done to satisfy the customer and that's the number one goal in retail!

This Ace location is very helpful and friendly.
They have been very accommodating during this pandemic in allowing phone orders for pick up for their garden center. This way we keep each other safe from this virus by having less foot traffic from those of us being careful about getting or giving illness.

It would be great for our essential workers' safety if all Ace locations allowed phone orders on non online orders to keep the foot traffic down!

I just got an Ego leaf blower. Great tool. Its battery and mine ran out about the same time. We're both recharging and will hit again soon.

I love this store. They have a good selection, and there's always someone nearby to help you find that one thing you can't locate. Plus, the cashiers give my kids high fives.

Helpful staff, helped me pick out the proper chemicals for my pool and walked me to the items I needed. Was approached several times by different staff to make sure I was helped out. I will be back again.

Very nice and friendly people working here. As a plumber I can tell you they have a good selection of faucet stems and cartridges.
