This store is located on Kempsvile road chesapeake Virginia 23320 and is accessible from Volvo parkway too because it’s on the intersection of Volvo parkway and kempsvile road. They reorganize the store and they carry lots more varieties of products they already carry and extended their freezer products area and carry lots more what we need in our daily life. I went there to buy car cleaning supplies noticed the change in the store finds lots more variety products and their prices are affordable and check out easy with self check out.the store carries seasonal stuff like fall,Halloween, Christmas etc and health, personal care,beauty,electronic accessories,office and school supplies,toys,party & occasions,cleaning, household,food and beverages, baby stuff,greeting cards, some garden accessories, and dollar general brands products. Overall prices are reasonable and affordable. The store is very clean and well organized. Customer service is excellent, store got nice big parking lot.

Very nice general store. If you're looking to save, come here instead of Walmart for many essentials. Nicely organized, well lit and clean store. The craft/art aisle is set up like a more premium office store and had a lot of options in pen color and art medium.

Very helpful pleasant employees. Even if they don't have what I need they take the time to check around and that extra mile they go to try and help means a lot to a busy person such as myself. Thank you for being a great team working staff and always making my visit quick, convenient, and enjoyable. Keep up the good work guys. I know everyday can't be stellar but you all deal gracefully and respectful even when some of the customers can make it super difficult and they can act very very rude. You all do amazing work and I will definitely be a return customer. Keep on being the wonderful mature employee's that I have come to appreciate more than y'all will ever realise. You guys rock!! It Aways clean they have an associate there name Tim who is friendly just out and kind. Plus, he plays the best music of all time, music of the 70s and on. If you are in the store you would not ask that question you would feel it.

I had a great time shopping at Dollar General. The staff is very warm and welcoming. Tyler gives great customer service. Will happily return to shop there.

If you don't know about Dollar General Digital coupons, just ask! It's a GREAT way to save yourself A LOT of money, especially when you combine the $5off $25 on Saturday (sometimes a Friday) This is a nice, spacious Dollar General and the staff is always willing to help!

They are always helpful , l always get greeted , (its almost like a small town store where people know your name 🙄) lol
but the store is always clean , they are all nice people that work there , l enjoy shopping at our Dollar General Store at Kempsville & Volvo ... Have a Nice Holiday everyone ... 😏

Everything I need is easy to find. Lots of variety! The staff is friendly and very helpful! I just moved to the area, and it's a phenomenal first impression; ) I will shop here all the time

I found lots items that I needed
Friendly environment..I needed larger bags to secure my items and they only had small bags.
Other than that, it's a great place to shop

Nice place, clean, and had lots of odds and ends for a small store, like lamp shades, lamp bases, food items,just a nice small variety.

This place has a lot of good things to buy and it's really appealing. I almost over spent.

The staff is so helpful and for a small store they have much of what we need including health needs.
