The best thing about the neighborhood supermarket is the young man who provides first class service in the deli department. Kudos.
The produce prices will make you run out of the store. I know times are tough but please can we buy groceries to feed our family. I guess not if your shopping at this store.

I had the pleasure of visiting Vitelio's Marketplace at Yellowstone Blvd, Forest Hills, NY, last week, and I must say it deserves a stellar 5/5 rating.

Clean, well-stocked and friendly, knowledgeable employees. Great selection of fruits and vegetables. The deli counter has amazing fresh-made foodstuffs (don't forget to try their roasted chicken!).

It is in a nice area, the store is clean And the shelves are kept full. Every week they have some nice sales going on.That helps especially now with food prices on the rise. The deli has good selection and the crab cakes and sesame noodles are one of my favorites. They have about 4 registers open at any given time and the wait is not bad. Happy shopping

I like this supermarket for quick in and out shopping of last minute items. I keep an eye out for their awesome sales. It's a small, but well stocked store. They always have my favorite coconut cream Mamita's ices. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and do so. It's refreshing and has an authentic, rich, Dominican ice flavor. There is street meter parking.
The only thing I find annoying is that there is nowhere to put the carts when you're done paying. You literally have to go back to the main entrance to return. It's close, so that's not the issue, it's just not efficient. Hope they add a holding area right outside the exit.

Excellent produce, many selections. Store is well lit and has a great selection of other items. The organic meat is some of the better choices in the area. The premade/deli section has beautiful options as well. Overall an awesome market, #1 choice in Forest Hills.

I love this Marketplace because it, really, has everything you could want. It is just like shopping in Manhattan on Park Avenue. It has every cheese you could imagine or ask for. It has a fabulous Deli counter that makes delicious sandwiches, it has a grest variety of cakes and fresh breads and rolls, it has every type of syrup and pancake mix, it has all different beers, and it has a wonderful frozen section with a wide variety of foods including Spanish foods. I shop there all the time. Unfortunately I buy things not even on my list. I see so many delicious cheeses I have to buy ones I like. But, even if I overspend...the cheese and Carr's Crackers Sam Adams is so good I don't mind the extra money I spent. Everyone who works there is very kind and helpful to me. I love shopping there and I don't mind spending my money there. It is just a fabulous place with a wonderland of fresh foods.

Nice, clean neighborhood market with friendly staff. Prices can be a bit more than the chain stores, but it's very convenient, and they usually stay open until 10. Also, I love that they carry a lot of Latin products. 😁

Been living in Forest Hills for 28 years and have shopped (and worked when I was younger) in this supermarket during its various iterations.

Friendly, helpful management and staff. They have been doing a great job during the pandemic and I know the residents of this neighborhood and customers in general are grateful.

Vitello’s is the best thing to happen since sliced bread. Pun Intended.

Very few transformations have made as great an impact in my daily life as Vitello’s. I recently became a vegan and gluten free too, and was worried that I’d have to travel far and wide to stock my fridge.

I talked with Geo, the proprietor, and he couldn’t have been more gracious about bringing in more vegan and gluten free products and as a result this is my go-to place. Sorry, TJ’s.

Shhh. Keep this on the down low, Vitello’s sells Miyoko’s Vegan Moz for half the price of Whole Paycheck. And, his pricing is competitive on most things in comparison to the “bigger boxes,” if not lower.

So, everyone if you want to keep that “neighborhoodie” feel of the Hills, we gotta support the little engines that could— great small businesses that deliver. THANKS SO!!!

***Lastly, I want to give a shout out to the management team, department managers, stock clerks, cashiers and deliver team who kept their nose to the grindstone, and a smile on their faces during this past weeks bum rush while this terrible crisis that we are facing unfolds.

It a nice neighborhood store and has everything you need in a good grocery store. It's pretty expensive though.

This is a great place - lots of choices, a lot of unexpected products you can't easily find in supermarkets. They have international products, kosher sections, specialty diets. Good prices, nice staff.

Love it! They have a great selection of foods and groceries and it's just a walk down the block.

I like the amount of effort that has been put into the store for the better shopping experience. The store is brighter, cleaner and has a greater variety of products. Very glad this store is in the neighborhood. Thank you.
